Alex's POV
I couldn't believe that tomorrow I was finally going to marry Tobin.
Kelley decided to take me out for dinner tonight in honor of my big day tomorrow.
"Excited? Nervous?" Kelley asked me as we sat across from each other at the table.
"More excited than nervous... this is a new chapter of my life." I say thinking about tomorrow.
"I'm really proud of you, Alex. You're a beautiful strong woman and you deserve everything good. You've been through a lot, I know that but you're strong. And you're my best friend."
"Kelley..."
"Shut up and listen will you?" Kelley says with a laugh.
"I want you to know that no matter what I'm always here for you, Jeri is always here for you. Sometimes you will feel like you're alone because you don't have your parents or Jeni but I'm here, I'm always going to be here. I don't want you to ever think that you're alone because you're not. I promise you won't ever be alone. And now you're marrying, Tobin and I want you to be happy. Be happy with her, raise a family with her, grow old with her. Because she makes you happy, so let her."
By then tears were already streaming down my cheeks as I look at Kelley with a smile on my face.
"You know, after all this time you're still here by my side."
"I'm never leaving." Kelley says as she reaches for my hand across the table.
"You've been my best friend since the start." I say with a laugh as I think about all the memories we've had since we were little.
I've known Kelley for such a long time and to know that I have a loyal friend like her meant the absolute world to me.

Tobin's POV
I sat outside on the beach and watched the sun begin to set. My heart was already starting to race at the thought of Alex and I's wedding.
"Thought I would find you here." I hear someone say. I turn around and I was met up with Christen.
"Hey." I say as she sits down next to me.
"How are you?" Christen asks as she looks me in the eyes.
"I'm good, you?" I ask.
"I'm good too."
"Really, how are you Christen?" I ask as I look over at my friend.
"I'm good, really." Christen says with a smile.
"I'm sorry things didn't work out between us."
"No, I'm sorry for forcing you into a relationship that clearly didn't make you happy. I'm happy for you and Alex, you two were always meant to be together." Christen says with a smile.
"You're still my best friend, Christen, don't get me wrong."
"I know."
"You should go out, find someone. A person like you doesn't deserve to be alone. You're a good person, a great person actually."
"I have my eyes on a certain defender." Christen says with a laugh that made me laugh too.
"Is it JJ?"
"How the hell do you know?" Christen asks with a laugh.
"I see the way you look at her." I say with a smile as I elbow her.
"I know..." Christen says with a sigh. "Are you happy, Tobin?"
"I most certainly am."
