CHARACTER PROFILE: (Back stories)
You (YN/FC)
Third Year Student
Before all this, you have been living a normal school life with your friends. Your dry humor can be seen even in the direst moment and can be explained as your way of coping in this situation.
You wake up the day later after being brought to the clinic. You have assumed that the accident was due to a stray ball hitting you although you were not able to see it for yourself. You were in fact "attacked" by a rampaging student and had been unconscious throughout the whole day.
You are mostly driven by the desire to contact home and get out of the school. Also you make acquaintances easily and even friends (which can be seen with Christina).
Gino
Second Year Student
Gino was somewhat of a juvenile delinquent back when he was in a public school. He does not feel much remorse in killing zombies like you and does not really care about surviving or going out of the school. He does however, for reasons unknown, want to help you survive.
He has quite a bit of a dark past though. When he was a kid, he witnessed his dad who was a cop getting shot in front of him. His mother got addicted and was overdosed. He then was left to the care of relatives but he became a rebellious kid who ditched school and hanged out with the wrong crowd where his friends had managed to set a house on fire and he was also pulled along to juvenile detention. His relatives decided to take him away to study at a private highschool to help "change his ways".
Manuel
Utility man
Manuel or known throughout the school as Mr. Manuel had been working there for two years. He is somewhat of the school's all around man.
He has a good relationship with the students and was always seen as a dependable person.
Named Fallen: (Back Stories)
Jane Francisco – "Miss Jane"; The school nurse.
She was a stern but kind young woman who takes care of the students who goes to the clinic.
She had been dubious about the medicine that was being sold by a "private" company. Just in case, she keeps the capsule inside her bag.
Dana Faylon – Third year classmate and your/FC's close friend. She was well-known throughout the school body for being quite pretty and friendly disposition.
Christina Trillas – "Tina"; A first year high school student. She was described by Gino as having long curly hair and a slightly small built. She had entered the school just this year having transferred from another private school from another municipality.
She had frequented the library, mostly charging her mobile phone in secret. Amidst the confusion and screaming, she had hidden with a couple of her classmates inside the female toilet located on the fourth floor. One of the girls turned into a zombie and started attacking the others. Christina survived the carnage by climbing and going through the vent to the adjoining room which was the boys' toilet, spraining her ankle in the process.
She had been hiding in there since and only went out when she had heard the commotion brought on by Gino. That was when she found you being surrounded.
Stephen Novero – a second year library student assistant. He was a scholar who could afford being a student through his being a student assistant.
Hipolito Cruz – The librarian. Kind man in his late-fifties.
* St. Jude is a true school. I studied there from Kindergarten to Highschool. I have no intention of demeaning that place in any way and I love it to pieces, really. I used to always have zombie dreams and a few times the school was the setting so I guess that's partly an inspiration. The layout of the school though, I've exaggerated the size a bit to fit my story 'cause it'd be so boring if you could go from point A to B in such a short time. xD
A/N: I have no idea if there's still people reading this xD anyway I'm doing this for fun...although I think writing this increases my 'Psycho-pass' it's still fun...In a way.
You're probably wondering why the 'kids' are so polite (they'd keep referring to Mr. Manuel as such or Sir). Well if I'd written this in our language I'd have put 'po' in their dialogues. 'Po' (sounds as poh and not pow) is a word which we use frequently when speaking to elders or those who have a higher rank and even to strangers. It denotes respect when speaking to somebody although it can be used to be sarcastic at times.
Impromptu / Random Language Tutorial:
For example, when you want to tell a person to eat you say:
In English: "Eat."
In Tagalog/Filipino: "Kain." (kah-in)
In polite Filipino: "Kain po." (kah-in poh)
Polite Tag-lish: "Eat po." (lol, this is also an acceptable form of speaking here, atleast for foreigners or halfs. If you're pure Filipino though they'll just think you're being prissy or 'maarte')
Also we add the honorific 'kuya' (elder brother) and 'ate' (elder sister) before a person's name. For example if the utility man was named Ben, here we would have referred to him as "Kuya Ben" and not forego the honorific and simply say 'Ben'. Personally I find it fascinating and at the same time off-putting whenever foreigners would refer to the elderly by their name only. (my opinion only of course, being that we all have different cultures)
Okayy, soo this is just a temp filler..I've lost my notes on this story (and still haven't seen any trace of it...for months L so I guess I'll just make another outline)
Okay on with the story-->
