Gino couldn't believe it. He'd just wasted precious time going through the fourth floor when he realized that the running girl on the grounds was in fact Y/N. Especially with her fixation on getting her things he should have realized that it was indeed Y/N with her stupid precious bag slung in front of her that pulled that crazy stunt in the middle of the field. Never mind the weird choice of outfit... or the lack of it.

Classic Y/N. He frowned. He had to go down again or at least near enough the grounds to survey if she was indeed among the fallen. With her luck there could be a chance that she survived.

He looked at the way towards the staircase. It had been a nightmare passing through there and just thinking of going through that way again...he could always go the other way but that would be too time consuming. Looking at the side Gino saw the bent rails. There were a few missing ones and it was in fact where Mr. Manuel had fallen through when they had first crossed paths at dawn.

Steeling his breath he crouched low at the edge and grasped the bent railings preparing to fall down to the next floor. He looked below first of course. It'd be such a shame if he stupidly fell to his own death or let himself dangle halfway only to be eaten by the zombies.

There was a lone zombie near but that was fine by him. What was troubling was the rubble piled at the exact spot of the drop. Oh, hell. Better start counting then, he thought.

One, two-

He barely made it to three when the snarling sound at his side made him jump down and onto the rubble pile, managing to just avoid twisting his knee. But just barely, "Shee-et." He hissed, his voice lost alongside the cluttering of the pipe which had also fallen and was rolling further from him.

His knee hurt and his elbow scraped but he forced himself to roll away just as the zombie from the floor above also fell but with less grace and more sickening splat sound. Still it moved and reached out for him. He gave it a half-hearted kick and rolled again towards the wall, intending to stand up quickly before the zombies attack him while he's down on the floor.

He breathed deeply and used his bloody arm and hand to push himself up.

Get up Gino! You've become pathetic! No prissy private-schooled corpse is goin' to eat your pathetic ass.

Crude words of encouragement filled his head as he maneuvered past the staggering zombie and picked up the pole. In a blind rage he tore through the corridor like a madman. He thought perhaps he is.
