Rhythm of the night

Chapter 7

Kyle POV
I wake up in an empty bed. No Dan to be seen. But he was there when I..... Damn! I fell asleep! And I promised Woody I'd keep an eye on him! Oh he will kill me.

A gentle knock on the door. Oh damn that must be Woody, there you'll have it. Nervously I tell him I'm awake, and that he can come in. The door slowly opens, and there's Dan. He's wearing nothing but a towel to cover himself. He's wet too, so he must have just taken a douche. And he made me breakfast, judging from the plates he got in his hands. "Oh Dan you're the best!" And I start eating.

Dan POV
As soon as I transformed back to a human I recalled everything from that night. Woody at the window, Kyle being guard,.. Oh no! Kyle fell asleep in my room, where my clothes still are! How am I gonna talk myself out of this? A woman walks by with a small kid, wearing swimming towels. Quickly I hide in the bushes. That's it! I just need to take a towel and pretend I douched! And when I'm still busy let's also make him breakfast. He deserves someone who spoils him. It's impossible for me being his anchor, but I can spoil him a bit. Just as friends, nothing's wrong with that right?

Quickly I take a towel, before anyone wakes up, and I put the douche on for a minute, so that there's moist on the walls. Then I go to the kitchen and make toasts and omelets for both Kyle and me. When that's finished I go to my room. When I enter it, Kyle is watching me. He obviously was just awake and missed me, and I can feel his eyes on my bare chest. Then I pass him his breakfast. He thankfully takes it and starts eating. No more questions about where I went, no more questions about my strange behavior. Exactly how I want it to be.
