While Dan was fighting his nature in order to survive, Kyle was dealing with his own problems. Problems that would change his life, forever. Problems that made him understand the love of his life even more. Problems he had to deal with all alone, while miles away Dan also had to deal with his problems all alone.

Kyle POV
It's close to midnight when I wake up. I'm disorientated, have no idea where I am. Until I remember I'm in Janna's guest bedroom, because I had certain issues taking care of myself after my second heartbreak in a few weeks time. I decide now I started thinking about everything that's wrong in my life, going back to sleep is quite impossible. I feel locked up, I really need some fresh air. I open the bedroom window and stare at the moon and the stars, so concentrated on their beauty that I don't notice those first peculiar things. I don't notice all those bacteria I'm suddenly able to see, I don't notice the sound of worms sliding through the grass, I don't notice all the itches I suddenly have. Actually I only notice something is wrong when spontaneously my legs can't hold me anymore. I fall forward, and when I use my arms to get myself up I only see two paws. That's when I crawl to my bed as soon as possible. Somehow I manage to get my phone on with those inefficient paws, and I put on the front camera. Looking back is not Kyle, the weird cat-and-Dan lover with the funny mustache, looking back is some brown wolf. A wolf which can't be anything else than my reflection. What must I do now? I decide to go wake Janna, she always knows what to do. All I'll have to do is explain it to her, and everything will be alright. Yes, Janna is my only hope.

Janna POV
Around midnight I'm suddenly waked by a weird noise in my bedroom. I anxiously look around, and almost lie down again in the assumption it must've been a dream, when I see it. Next to my bed is a wolf, wearing Kyle's clothes. "No, Kyle!" I scream. This can't be! What is a wolf doing in my house, in f*cking London? And why did it have to eat Kyle, who didn't do anything wrong? After my scream the wolf starts to howl, and I'm becoming more and more scared. I don't want to be its next prey! I take my phone and call the alarm number. It's the only right thing to do. They'll find a fine zoo for it. That's a wolves paradise compared to this busy London. Before I know it, the wolf is taken away and everything is fine. Except the fact that Kyle is dead. Nobody knows it yet, there's no evidence, and I'll have to tell them.

I'm not as evil as you think I am. Or maybe I am, who knows?
