Dan POV
I decide to go and find Janna. Finally, there she is, at Kyle's coffin, tears in her eyes. "Hey Dan" she says, without looking up from Kyle's picture. I put my arm around her, as a sign of support. She starts to cry "he didn't deserve this, Dan. He was such an animal lover, why did this have to be his death?" An animal 'killed' Kyle? What happened then? When I ask Janna I realize it: Kyle indeed isn't death. He's living in his worst nightmare.
Kyle POV
The scientists enter the room again. For the first time, I don't react aggressive; I understand I need help now after all. I'm nothing more than a brute killer, a brute killer that deserves punishment. I deserve the constant pain of the collar, I deserve all the nails that are daily put into my body. I can't do else but accept it. I deserve it after all.
Dan POV
Nervously I look around the room, where Will and Woody are watching me, waiting for me to say something. I decided to tell them everything, which I should've done much sooner. If I just told them, none of this would have happened. If I tell them, we can search for a solution together. Now let's hope they won't hate me.
I'm currently in a bus writing, trying to evade people to read with me. It's quite dangerous since the person next to me fell asleep with his head on my shoulder but whatever.
