Automatically I answered the FaceTime call, it was Dan's number and I hadn't spoken to him for weeks. But what appeared on my screen looked like some awful horror movie. Dan was there, in a wood, surrounded by wolves. He was attached to a pole, being hold at his place by barbed wire. Also he was naked, which means someone put off his clothes, Dan would never do that himself. He looks scared, scared to death, and he looks like he's in pain. Logical, that barbed wire on your skin must hurt a lot. I see Dan being in more and more pain, until the sun appears. It makes him look weak, but the pain is gone. I see people untieing him and Dan falling on the ground, exhausted. After that my screen becomes black. Whoever is in charge of Dan's phone now has broken the connection.
I immediately decide Kyle has to know this. I take on my coat and run to his house, but nobody is there. His neighbor tells me he went away with some girl, which according to her descriptions must be Janna. I take the underground to her house, but I'm being blocked by ambulances and police. When Janna sees me, she hysterically runs to me. "Woody, something awful happened. Kyle is dead"
