Chapter Eleven: Capture

Okay,so Spencer has two names,but I am just going to use Spencer instead.

[Spencer's P.O.V(not really)]

Spencer peered curiously out of Lunar's window.

"This is the old base."Lunar said grimly. Spencer assumed she was grimacing at the sight of it.

He could see that the base was destroyed. He was explained to that it was once a towering base,but now,half of it was gone and it revealed the insides.

Spencer frowned."They did remove everything,right?"He asked.

"Yes,they did. Decepticons bombed it,so I doubt that anything would survive,"Lunar replied,"This incident occurred before I joined Team Prime."

"But why is there equipment at the rubble?"Lunar was quiet when Spencer said that,and he assumed she was surveying the scene.

"That can't be right. Spencer,contact Optimus."Lunar murmured.

Spencer nodded as he turned on the commlink.

:Uh....Optimus?:

:Yes,Spencer?:

:Why is there equipment at the old base?It was all destroyed right?Due to the bomb?:

The commlink went silent as Spencer waited for the answer.

:There should not be any equipment. I suggest that you take a closer look. I will arrive shortly once I finish my patrol. Proceed with extreme caution.: The commlink went silent. Spencer sighed.

"Optimus told us to check it out,but he will join us soon. He also told us to be careful."Spencer reported.

"I understand. Keep a lookout on our surroundings and be on your guard."Lunar ordered and opened her car door. Spencer paused,confused,before hopping out. Lunar transformed into her bipedal mode and rubbed her neck.

"Spencer,stay close to me at all times. Be alert and wary of your surroundings."Lunar whispered. Spencer nodded to show that he understood.

Lunar's servo transformed into a gun as she warily made her way to the destroyed base. Spencer walked beside her,looking around. There was no one in sight;the road was sandy as if no one had used it.

They reached the machine,and Spencer reached out to touch it before getting a warning from Lunar.

"Don't touch it,Spencer. We do not have the knowledge of what it can do,either harm or good."Lunar advised softly. Spencer gulped,mostly picturing of what harm the machine could do.

He watched as Lunar accessed the commlink.

:Lunar to base,I am currently observing the device. Must I bring it back to base?:

:Optimus is almost back. By the time being,do not touch the device.:This time it was Ratchet who replied her.

:Affirmative.:

The second she turned off the link,there were blasts that came from behind the rubble. Lunar grabbed Spencer and ducked behind the machine.

"Shadowhunter is here."Lunar growled as her servo transformed into a gun. Spencer watched as she aimed a few shots at the Cons.

He started to unfold the machinery on his back but Lunar stopped him."They cannot know that you-"She aimed for a shot."-are the one that they are looking for. Stay here."

"What?"

Spencer was horrified when Lunar jumped over the machine and started to shoot at the cons,while trying to duck from their blasts.

:Ratchet?Are you there?!:

:Spencer,what is the problem?:

:We're under attack!Might need reinforcements right about now!:

:Okay,Ultra Magnus and Bulkhead are coming!Hang on!:

Cons started to come from a groundbridge that was not far away,and one of them caught Spencer. They started to shoot as he ducked and rolled to a pile of rubble.

Lunar threw a Con her shoulder and started to shoot at the incoming Cons. Just then,another groundbridge appeared behind her and a servo shot out. The servo caught Lunar's pede and started to drag her into the vortex.

"No!"Spencer cried. Another vortex appeared not far away,and Ultra Magnus's frame came into view as he came out from the groundbridge.

Spencer ran forward and started to pull Lunar back,but he was too weak. Lunar gritted her dentae and looked at him.

"Stand back!"She ordered. Spencer staggeres backwards as the Prime transformed into a Predacon and pushed forward.

A net of electricity burst out from the vortex and caught Lunar in it. She roared,before being dragged into the groundbridge.

Spencer scrabbled forward to grab her servo but it was too late. The vortex closed,and he was left there.

"Lunar!No!"
