Kill Me.

So yeah. We were in the B&B and I was finally gonna talk to my brother! What more could a girl like me want?!

"Here you go miss. And don't go ringing up an ex-I've had enough drama to last me a lifetime!" the old man who owned the place led me to the rusting phone, joking about as he went. Beggars can't be choosers and I had no other option. Either use this phone, or loose contact with my beloved sibling.

As I dialed the number of Tristan's mobile, I could not help but wish that Riley could be by my side, holding my trembling hand. Who knew what state Tris would be in? Just like that, as the phone began to incessantly ring, laughing came from next door. It was a laugh that I knew better than anyone, and it was coming from Riley. He was laughing nervously about something and to someone who wasn't the kindly owner.

Before I could worry anymore, a husky voice answered the ancient phone.

"Tris? Is that you? What happened this morning?" I asked, eagerly. It was true what they said about questions coming in three's.

"Alice? I was worried sick! How could you just run off like that and not answer your phone?" he replied in disgust. This confused me; he was the one that told me to leave.

"About the phone. It got whacked out of my hand and smashed to the floor. I didn't run off, you told me to leave! What's going on?"

"Aliiiiiicccceeeee! You know we can't afford another phone! I never told you to ru- Alice, listen to me, we don't have much time. DO NOT reply to anything I tell you until I am finished. Men are after us, you. They have me and were listening to the call, that's why I was saying all those things. This group of people are dangerous and go by the name of The Hunters. Stay low for they WILL find you if you so much as step a foot out into the limelight. The debit card is untraceable, that's why it was the emergency one. Mum and Dad knew this day would come so they told me that I had to make sure you were okay at whatever the cost. They died protecting us. They staged a car accident so that they would believe us dead-you were only young and so they knew that you would be safe.

Alice, they are coming back. Call yourself by another name and create a new identity. Alice, I love-" then the line went dead. I was shaking terribly now. I was crying. Waterfalls of tears streamed down my face, not wanting to give up...

I wandered back into the lobby, not even noticing the time. That's when I saw them. Riley was with-was with-a-a-a-girl. Not just any girl-a beautiful, goddess of a girl. Golden curls framed her flawless face with ocean blue eyes and pale skin. She was skinny as a twig. Riley was practically in her lap; flirting, making cheesy pickup lines and not noticing my tear stained face and wide open eyes. The nice, old man cleared his throat in an attempt to bring Riley back down to earth, but it didn't work.

Soon, he noticed my icy glare from across the room. "Alice! Meet-well-Alice! Alice, this is my companion, Alice." he introduced us rather confusingly. Right now, I was sad for the new identity I had to make. I wanted to be this Alice, The new and improved version of myself-she even suited the name better. And he liked her. A lot...

From the moment we left the lobby, all he could talk about was "Alice this" and "Alice that". I could only dream of being incarnated as this beautiful Alice. After he finished dribbling on, I soon told him that, if he wished to continue on with me, I had to change my identity. He understood and was soon snoring away on the comfy bed-he had forgotten about our agreement.

As his arm dangled above my face, all I could help but wonder was if I would ever get to hold that hand as Alice. For now, I was Rosella Martine.
