Chapter V:
I looked at the smiling person beside me. I can't quite point out what he was thinking but I no longer feel threatened, scared, or uneasy being with him like how I did before.
"So you're really Mark Raye at the same time Sebastian. So how am I supposed to address you?"
"Well, you should be calling me Mr. Raye in school but outside, it is up to you." he paused and opened his door. "Fresh air," He leaned back on his seat, placed both arms at the back of his head and closed his eyes.
"So why are we here?" I asked as I equally opened my door to allow the cool fresh breeze to enter.
"I'm supposed to be seeing something for someone." He replied without opening his eyes.
"And why am I here?"
He opened one eye and smiled. "I want to have you all to myself."
I raised one eyebrow and he laughed.
He smiled, closed his eye and gave me a more serious answer. "I just want to know you better. I want to know what type of girl my creepy nephew is supporting."
"Nephew?" I thought. Then that follows that he is a guy... would that mean that he is younger than Mr. Raye? "Would you please tell me what kind of person is my owner."
A low giggle escaped his lips. "Owner? I think he'll like you calling him that. After all, he's one heck of a pervert!"
I could feel my face burning up.
"What the heck is he talking about?! And why does he keep on talking in such manner when it involves my owner?" I thought angrily feeling embarrassed in lieu to the one whom he was talking about.
He once again started to giggle. I think my reactions is kind of amuses him. (?_?)
"What's so funny?!" I finally snapped. "You've been laughing since we've left the hospital." I think that was the last end of the straw for me.
"I can't help it!" he wiped the tears off his eyes. "You're just too cute and innocent when my nephew comes into the scene."
I blushed at his statement. "That is not true and you know that!" I countered back.
He adjusted the rear mirror towards me. "Yeah, but you're blushing like a rotten tomato."
I immediately turned the mirror back to its original position. I don't want to see myself like that. I slumped on my seat and crossed my arms in front of my chest. I cannot deny the fact that what he was saying was true and this embarrasses me. It is not fault that I am not aware of my owner since nobody cared to introduce him to me! (>n<) I did not say another word from then on. I was insulted and hurt from all of this talk so I think the best thing I could do is shut up.
Minutes passed and no words were spoken between the two of us. I looked at him. His eyes were still closed, his breathing slow and rhythmic. If I am not mistaken, he fell asleep.
"I have a deal for you." I jumped slightly in shock when he spoke out of nowhere. He opened his eyes and faced me. "Since it is unfair for him to be keeping you in the dark; I would like to propose a bargain for some information."
My head automatically turned to face him. I could feel myself beaming as I started to get excited at the offer.
"Are you in?" he asked not losing any time.
I nodded eagerly not wanting to miss this moment.
He smiled. "Good. Here's the deal..." he reached for the glove compartment of the car in front of me and took out a bunch of papers that were silently hiding there waiting for their moment to shine. "This is the script for the play. You are the chosen Juliet and I want you to play her. If you agree then I'll start filling you in about him."
