"Hey Babe!", I greeted you after you came home late again, you just smiled and sat down on the couch next to me and cuddled up near me. "The lads just left, a second before you came here." I informed you, like every evening since nearly a month now. You always came home late and haven't seen the lads because of that but it didn't bother me. I wasn't afraid of you cheating because I knew you never would. "Let's go to bed my angel, you look tired!", I told you when I looked at your face. Even with the dark lines under your eyes and so tired and lifeless you looked like an angel to me. I softly took your small fragile hand in my much bigger one and led you to our king-size bed. You laid down on it while I did the same right beside you. The bed dug down a little under my weight while it didn't mind yours at all, you were light like a feather.
I lay awake for some time just watching your fragile breath-taking self sleeping. Way too soon for my taste my sight became blurry and my eyelids began falling shut. Luckily you didn't leave me, even in my dreams you were by my side. "Haha come on Lou, or are you afraid of storms?", your soft laugh was ringing through my ears and just to tease you I refused to go out. I loved your sweet pouting face just as much as your determined one, that you put on now. "Okay then stay in here, old geezer!" With that you turned round and ran out over the sandy ground which was here and there covered with grass. I watched you disappear over the small summit to the beach. Quickly I chased after you through the pouring rain while I dared you: "Wait until I catch you, you're gonna regret that!" You just turned around laughing and then ran away from me. Without a problem I caught you and lifted you up off the ground with my arms around your tiny little waist. I carried your giggling self in my arms and also couldn't hold back my laugh. You tried to struggle free while I began tickling you, cracking in laughter. As you struggled some more I lost my balance and fell to the wet sand with you on top of me. It felt like forever when we stayed in that position and just smiled at each other through the pouring rain. "I love you!", I said breathless, you always have that effect on me. Your smile grew even wider than before and you quickly shot the same words back at me before you kissed me enthusiastically. Our teeth clacking together because of the verve you put in the kiss by your quick move, but it didn't matter it still was the best kiss I had ever shared with you. We just stayed there that day, lying in the sand until the rain stopped and the sun slid from behind the clouds and dried our clothes.
I woke up by the sun tickling my face and instead of one of the other boys, waking me up, I found you still lying next to me, smiling at me. "Morning beautiful!", I whispered softly. You still had those awful black rings under your eyes, but I understood, you were just tired. "(Y/N), remember the time when I took you on holiday with me to that isolated house on the beach. We spent our summer there, just you and I and no one else. That was so perfect, I'm sorry I've been so busy the last year and we couldn't do that again. I dreamed about it tonight, it was so beautiful!" A soft cough came from the door and I turned toward it. Harry stood there with a scrunched up nose, looking at my through dull eyes. "Louis who are you talking to?", he asked. "Who am I talking to? To (Y/N) of course!" While I said that I turned back to you, but the space you lay on just seconds before was now empty.
Harry Pov.:
He turned back at me with a confused look. Silently I walked over to him and laid myself down beside him, wrapping my arms around him pulling him into my chest. "Louis, she's gone, you need to stop this and get back to us! She's no longer here." He didn't say anything, like he didn't get anything what I was saying. By now tears were streaming down my cheeks I just wanted to have my best friend back, not the zombie like version he was right now. I pulled him a little closer. "You know she died four weeks ago, Boobear." He went all stiff in my arms. "What the fu-" i cut him off before he could say any more. "Lou, there was nothing you could do, it's not your fault, she stopped eating, but you need to let go. You have to finally visit her grave and go back to your life, to your family, to us!", I demanded in a pleading tone. After I stopped the silence fell over us again and I thought that he just ignored me again, until he suddenly lightly started to shake in my arms. Per second his sobs and shaking got more violent, until he was a crying and cursing mess in my arms. Asking for answered he'll never get. Why she left, why she didn't tell him and most of all why his love wasn't enough. I couldn't do anything other than holding him through his comprehension and it broke my heart.
