Chapter 16:
I Need Your Help
"Zayn." Per whispers. My eyes widen. What would he think?
"Perrie?!" He calls out.
"Wait a second." She whispers, walking to the kitchen where he was. I tip toe behind her, cautious. I examine the man, swift movements as he pulled Per into his arms. His dark eyes closed, a small smile on his lips. He pulls away, then his eyes land on me. Per turns to me. "This is...Pixie." She whispers.
"Pixie? That's a strange name." He smiles. This is my uncle, the man in the photos.
"Nickname..." I murmur. He looks right at me.
"Not to be rude, but why is she here?" He turns to Per.
"Zayn, I know this may sound crazy, but I'm just begging you to hear me out. Please." Per begs. Zayn looks at Per, eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"Of course." He murmurs. Per walks us to the living room, pictures and papers sprawled across the floor.
"Please, look." I whisper, gesturing to the floor.

"Y-you...w-we...h-how..." Zayn was stuttering too much as he looks at the paper. The two had tears in their eyes.
"It's me Zayn, Darcy." Zayn looks at me with hateful eyes.
"Is this some sort of trick?!" He booms. I immediately stand up, backing away in fear.
"Zayn! Your scaring her!" Per cries out.
"Do you not remember four years ago?!" Zayn yells at Perrie.
"This aunt a trick Zayn! You can't look me in the eyes and tell me that's not Darcy! She has green eyes and brown curly hair! She has Harry's smile for gods sake!"
"Eye contacts, hair dye, acting." Zayn says. "There's an explanation for everything. She's definitely not seeing Harry and Ariel. Last time they were devastated." He whispers.
"I can't believe you!" Per yells, her right hand connecting with Zayn's face. Per rushes out the door, and Zayn throws a glare at me.
"If all this doesn't convince you...will this?" I pull the paper airplane necklace from my neck, showing him. He snatches it away.
"Your sick." He spits. I'd never seen him so angry, he was scary most definitely. He examines it, and I reach to have it back. He turns away, not returning it.
"No! I promised him I'd wear it everyday!" I scream, now angry. I snatch it away from him. "And only I would know that." I spit. I shove everything into my bag, anger boiling in my veins. I run outside, Per long gone. I take down the street and into town, the shopping outlets stocked and small restaurants busy. Stupid. Stupid I was. I shouldn't have stayed. I should've have left long ago. Stupid stupid stupid! I run into in alley and throw my back in anger. Tears spill down my cheeks. I pull my satchel back to my side, not wanting to lose it. I wipe my tears even though they keep spilling over. "Your so pathetic Darcy..." I tell myself.
"You! Girl!" A man bellows. I look up. Great, the same officer from earlier. "I knew you were some beggar! Your coming with me!" He says, gripping my arm tightly. I go to scream, but nothing comes out. No. This couldn't be happening! He shoves me in the back of his car, beginning to drive. I frantically looked around for an escape route, but finding none. "Your the missing girl." He growls. "I knew it." Anger boils inside me, and I feel like a small child about to throw a tantrum. I bite my tongue, holding back the snide remark I wish to spit at him.
"I'm no such thing. I'm not Darcy Gold." I bite back.
"Than what are ya eh?" He eyes me through the mirror.
"I'm...I'm-" The speaker in his radio cuts me off, and that I'm thankful for. What had I gotten myself into?
