Chapter 3:
End
2 Weeks Later
The limo I was riding in was rented by Mom and Dad, and I would meet them to sign adoption papers at the courthouse. My kidnappers got some time in jail, but I'm not sure how long. As we round the block, my eyes widened, a smile spreading over my face. Many former 'Directioners' held up signs with pictures of me as a baby. Others had in big letters 'Baby Direction' and 'Welcome Home'. This was absolutely amazing!
"Oh my god!" I smile, rolling down my window.
"DARCY! DARCY! DARCY!" The crowd chants over again. This is what I call real fans. Moms and daughters, and a few fathers here and there were all waving signs, blowing kisses, and all kinds of other things. My family, the very large one may I add, were standing at the steps. Security guards lined the entrance and there was even rope like things to show the fans where it was okay to be and not to be. A security guard guarded me as we made our way down. I smile widely, tears coming to my eyes. These were the real fans, and Dad had told me they lost fans when him and a Mom got married, and had me...nine months later. These fans, are the greatest they'll ever get.
Mom, Dad, Per and Zayn, Liam, Louis and Eleanor, and Niall were all waiting at the steps for me. I hugged each one of them, and the crowd grew louder.
"This is crazy." I smile.
"Get used to it Darce, there's a lot more, and a lot crazier mobs coming." Dad smirks.
"I guess it gets old after awhile, but Dad, these fans are just...the best." Dad shrugs, agreeing. We all walk in, the chanting growing muffled as the doors shut behind us.
"Ready to become ours again?" Mom nudges me. I smile at her.
"I was always yours." I smile back.
"Let's go sign some damn papers." Dad smiles.
"Language." I tease, Dad rolling his eyes.
We sign the papers, and my handwriting is a bit sloppy due to my right hand wrist that is covered in a black cast.
"Your ours!" Mom smiles. "Legally." She adds quickly. We all do a really large group hug.
"This is so weird." I giggle. Everyone bursts into laughter. We are really a family.

All of us get in the limo, all the while fans screaming. I even stopped to take pictures with some of them. They didn't scream in my face, and a few women even cried. Lots of them admitted to thinking they would marry my father or one of my uncles. I don't see why though, my uncles are freaks, though I love them, and my father is cheeky and nerdy, but I guess that's why they loved them all. They're unique. I guess I'm pretty unique too.
"I can't wait for you to see your room." Per smiles at me. "Your mom, Eleanor, and I all decorated it." Eleanor smiled at me warmly. I'd never really met her before, but I really have when I was little. I don't remember her much, but there were so many loving pictures of Per, her, and me.
"You guys decorated it?" I smile. "I'm sure I'll love it." Dad smiles at me, his dimples showing in his face. I recognize those dimples. I have similar dimples, so I smile too. They aren't those people anymore. The people that had dullness in their eyes, sadness weighing them down. The dark circles that once adorned their eyes were now gone. They were now sleeping, now looking happy. Their distress was gone, and I suppose mine was too.
"Do you know how to play any instruments?" Niall asks.
"Nah. No ones ever taken the time to teach me." I shrug.
"Louis and I will have to teach you properly won't we?" Niall offers.
"What instrument?"
"Preferably guitar, unless your interested in Louis teaching you to play piano."
"I'd love to learn both." I smile.
"How about we just gut settled down now?" Dad asks rhetorically.
"I don't have to settle in. I know you all, I'm ready to spend more time with you guys." I respond.
"Come on Haz let the kid live a little." Zayn groans. Perrie smiles, looking down at her small bump.
"Speaking of kids, um, we know what were having."
"Is it a boy or girl?" Mom asks eagerly. Mom had a punkish look like Per did, but a bit more toned down. Neither had tattoos, as far as I know, and no strange piercing on Mom, but Perrie pulled off the neck piercing and nose piercing. Mom had some eye makeup on, making her steel grey eyes even more beautiful. Her dark brown hair accentuated her features, her perfect sized lips pink. Her cheeks were naturally rosy, and I understand why Dad would fall for her.
"Um...were having a boy." Per smiles proudly. Their baby would sure be beautiful, all of their children would be. And maybe I was. Who knows?
"Congratulations!" Eleanor smiles, hugging Perrie momentarily.
"The thing that really scares me is the out coming of the baby." She shudders. We all laugh, and I meet eyes with my father again. I'm finally with my family.
***
"I love it!" I smile, looking around at the purple and black bedroom. They had stocked my closet with all kinds of clothes, and I was glad they were my style, sort of girly punk. The guys were in here too, and we all looked around.
"What is this?" Dad asks, picking up an ear cuff.
"An ear cuff."
"And this?" Liam asks. All my stupid uncles, and of course my dad walked around the room asking me what everything was.
"Your all a bunch of idiots," I smirk. "But your my favorite idiots." They all smile at me. I'm truly home. I finally belong. Nothing could ruin it...or so I thought.
