Mandi
I forced myself to get up early so that I would have enough
time to ask my mom if I could go with AnaBella, Josh, and
Dillon, and get ready. I already knew that it was going to be a
long day. The worst part was that I didn’t even feel good, but I
didn’t want to disappoint AnaBella so I wasn’t going to let anybody
know that. I walked into the kitchen to talk to my mom.
“Why are you up so early,” my mom asked me with confusion
written all over her face.
“I don’t know why don’t you ask the purple flying green
Leprechaun,” I snapped. That hadn’t even made any sense!
“Wow, somebody’s ornery today,” my mom said; I felt terrible.
“I’m sorry, mom,” I told her. “I don’t even know where that
came from since it didn’t even make sense. Anyways, I’m up because
AnaBella, Josh, and Dillon want me to go back-to-school shopping
with them.”
“Oh, do you want some money,” my mom asked.
“No, I probably won’t buy anything since it most likely won’t fit
in a couple of months.”
“Here, take this in case you find something you like,” my mom
handed me a fifty dollar bill.
“Are you sure mom,” I asked her. “I don’t want to buy something
if it’s not going to fit me in like two months.”
“Just take it, and go have fun,” she told me. “You better go and
get ready if you’re going to go.”
“Thanks,” I said. After that I got dressed in a tank top, a light
jacket, and yoga pants. I put a pair of Converse shoes on before I text AnaBella:
Hey, I can go *MaNdI*
Okay Dillon, Josh, and I are gonna come pick you up in a few
minutes <3Love<3
Okay *MaNdI*
A few minutes later I head a horn honk, and I knew that it was
them here to pick me up. I walked outside and got into Josh’s car.
“Dang,” AnaBella said.
“What,” I asked defensively.
“I’ve never seen you dressed like that to go out,” she told me.
“Would you like me to go change,” I asked sarcastically.
“Are you comfortable,” she asked.
“Yes,” I answered.
“Okay, then you don’t have to change,” she laughed.
“Oh my goodness, child,” I said while shaking my head.
