AnaBella
My phone started ringing and I automatically picked it up.
“Hello,” I said into the phone.
“Help,” Mandi shrieked into the phone.
“Mandi, calm down,” I told her.
“Give me the phone,” I heard Dillon say in the background.
“Dillon, why is she freaking out,” I yelled so that he could possibly hear me.
“Just calm down,” Dillon was saying to Mandi. He must have finally gotten
the phone because he said into the phone, “Hey sorry about that.”
“Dude, why is she freaking out,” I asked.
“Don’t you freak out on me, but Mandi is not only having one baby she’s
having a set of twins,” he explained.
“W-w-wait, what,” I exclaimed totally freaking out.
“AnaBella, calm down or I’m making you talk to Mandi’s mom,” he threatened.
“Okay, sorry,” I told him. “You two get your butts to my house so that I can
talk to my best friend.”
“AnaBella, you’re still kind of freaking out,” he said.
“Shut up,” I said. “My best friend is having twins, how can I not freak out?”
“Okay, you have have a point,” Dillon sighed. “Hey, we’ll be to your house in
a few minutes.”
“Okay, I’ll see you then,” I said before disconnecting the line.
I was still freaking out over the fact that Mandi was having twins a few minutes
later when Dillon and Mandi arrived at my house. Mandi was bawling as Dillon
carried her into my house and lied her down on the couch in the living room.
“I take it you’re still freaking out too,” Dillon said to me.
“Yes,” I shrieked. “How long has she been like this?”
“Ever since the ultrasound technician pointed out that she’s having two babies
instead of just one,” Dillon answered.
“Everybody stop saying that,” Mandi shrieked.
“Did her mom say anything about what to do about her freaking out?”
“Not really,” he answered. “Although, I have an idea.”
Dillon leaned forward and kissed Mandi on the lips. At first I didn’t think that
it was going to work but when he broke the kiss Mandi started taking deep
breaths.
“Are you okay,” I asked her.
“I think so,” she said shakily.
“Why’d you freak out so badly,” I asked treading softly on the subject just in
case she had another freak out.
