It took Mandi forever to stop crying and then the whole time she would not
let me leave her side.
“You, sir,” she said laughing and wiping the rest of her tears away, “are mean.”
“Oh, but you love me future Mrs. Mandi Hansen,” I smirked and kissed the top of her head.
“I gotta get them,” she said pointing at her stomach, “out first.”
“I agree,” I said. “They definitely have to be completely healthy before we
even start planning the wedding.
“It seems like there’s some type of celebration going on in here,” a nurse
laughed as she walked in carrying a bucket with the stuff to draw blood

in her arm. It only took a couple of seconds for the nurse to finish drawing
enough blood from Mandi.
“And we are done,” the nurse said cheerfully before she left the room.
“Ow, that flipping hurt,” Mandi said. “I want my blanket and pillow and
actual clothes from my house before I go to bed.”
“I’m not sure about the clothes part, but if you want Josh and I can go get
your pillow and blanket,” AnaBella suggested.
“If you could, that’d be wonderful,” Mandi said around a yawn.
“Okay, we’ll be back as soon as we can,” AnaBella said giving Mandi a
hug before Josh and her left the hospital room.
“Are you okay,” I asked Mandi noticing that she looked pale.
“No,” she said. “Dr. Bradshaw decided that I’m most likely going to have a
