Randhir didn't know when he fall asleep beside her with his hand still in hers....
After almost an hour Sanyukta finally woke up and gasped founding their entwined fingers....
She looked at Randhir's sleeping face and then again stared at their joined palms....
Their palms fit into each other so well, filling the gaps , glued to each other, like iron and magnet.....
Sanyukta touched their fingers to break the palm joint but couldn't as Randhir's grip on her fingers were tight enough....
She ran her left fingertips over the veins popping up on his wrist....
For the first time in all these months she noticed how fair he is, his veins are green in colour....
Her eyes fell on his sleeping face which has peace written all over it, even there was a tiny smile on his lips, he looks happy.....
Sanyukta wondered what makes him so happy? Then her gaze travelled to their palms which were still joined in synchronization, fitting perfectly like those missing parts of puzzles.....
Her brain wanted to remove her palm from his but some other force didn't let her do so!
She tried and tried again but that force was stronger than her mind's commands....
At last she ended up gawking at her months old husband from whom she was seeking revenge all this time....
But is it only the revenge that binds her with him? Or those holy rounds they took around the fire?
Both of them were yet to find the answers.....
