On April 15, 1912, the notorious White Star Line ship known as the Titanic collided with an iceberg. Four hours following the damaging strike, the "ship of dreams" sunk, bringing 1,503 passengers down with it. Jack Dawson, a third-class man, was, unfortunately, one of them.

The tragic story of Rose DeWitt Bukater and Jack Dawson is a famous one. Rose DeWitt Bukater, who referred to herself as Rose Dawson subsequent to the sinking but eventually became Rose Calvert, had two children. Eventually, she became a grandmother, and then a great grandmother. On April 14, 1979, Rose's great-granddaughter was born to Elizabeth Palma Calvert,

Sadly, Rose passed away in 1997.

Elizabeth decided to name her daughter after her own grandmother.

This story is about Rose Calvert the Second.
