I finally had my memory back after 2 hours of Xia talking about everything from our childhood together to our first training class.
"I'm going to get some firewood" said Xia.
"Wait" Moonika said. "I have something to tell you guys".
"What is it?" I asked.
"Something I should have told you before, Kalinda"
"OK then spit it out" I said.
"Well when I was young a lady told me of a prophecy, it was told that one day two girls from different worlds will come together to stop the three worlds from destruction and that the one who sees the moon clearly will sacrifice herself for the other".
"Whats this got to do with anything?" I asked.
"Well it's just that...we are from different worlds, I'm from Chandra and your from Sol and I think that we are the girls in the prophecy" Moonika stuttered.
"The prophecy could be about anyone Moonika" I said.
"Yeah i guess.." she said quietly.
"OK im going to get some water from the stream" I replied.
Walking down the bank I saw something catch the moonlight, I walked over to it and saw that it was a knife. I cautiously looked around to see if anyone was watching before picking it up and putting it in my pocket. I was nearly at the stream when I heard someones ear-piercing scream coming from the direction of our camp site. I ran back up the bank in time to see that our tent was entirely burned to the ground and saw Xia being dragged away by hooded figures. I ran across the clearing leaping over the bundle of ash and sticks of our not-yet-lit-fire and onto a guys back. He gasped in surprise causing the other hooded figures to see what was going on. One of them grabbed my ankle and I saw another one grab a knife.
"Well well men, looks like we've found what we are looking for" said a man pulling his hood off revealing his scared face. I shook the hand from my ankle and jumped down off the guys back and walked toward the scar face guy.
"Why are you looking for me?" I asked steel streaking my voice.
"Because you and the Moon girl know something valuable to me" he said.
"What the hell?" I replied.
"Come to us and help us discover what creates your power and we will not harm your family" He offered.
"Like hell I would come and help you!" I spat in disgust.
"Very well then" he said as he motioned to the Agent holding Xia. The Agent held up a deadly looking knife to Xia's neck.
"Get your filthy hands off her!" I cried as I got into a battle stance readying my power.
"Accept our offer and we promise you we will not harm her" he said showing a grusome grin. I rose an eyebrow and called my power and as it spilled into my veins I said "Sorry I don't work well with others".
My power made me glow with orange light I held my hands up and blew the Agents closest to me away into the surrounding bushes.
