The last thing I remembered was feeling a pain like I had never experienced before in my life.
Kalinda's P.O.V.
Glowing and full of adrenaline I grabbed the leader "Get out of here and don't ever cross paths with us again if you want to live" I said. I pulled his arm tighter "Understood?" I asked as I let him go. He stumbled a bit then yelled "Come men we have other matters to attend to" to his men. With the threat of them eliminated I ran to Moonika. "Moonika? Can you hear me?" I asked while lightly shaking her. Xia walked over cautiously "Kalinda? Why did you lie?" she asked quietly. I sighed "Xia can we please talk about this later?" I said while checking for Moonika's pulse. "OK" she replied. "She's alive" I mumbled to myself more than to Xia. Now what to do with this arrow I thought trying to remember weather you take it out or leave it in. I limped towards the leader agent "Where is the nearest hospital?" I yelled. "On the mainland" he said. "How far are we from the mainland?" I asked. "You won’t be able to get her to the mainland, there is no other way to get there but by crossing water" he said. I groaned inwardly so frustrated and in pain. "Xia we need to get her off these rocks and to the beach" I said. Xia just nodded obviously she was still wondering why I lied. I went over to some trees and pulled off branches then tied them together with some of my ripped t-shirt. When we had a decent looking stretcher we put Moonika on top of it and carried her down off the rocks. When we arrived at the beach I checked Moonika's pulse again "She is still alive" I said. "Moonika can you hear me?" I said willing her to wake up. "How are we going to get her to the mainland?" Xia asked. "We are going to make a raft" I said getting up and wincing in pain. We went over to some trees and pulled off some more branches and made the stretcher into a raft. After we were sure the raft would support all of us we set sail. The sea was rough and the winds were wild as we made our way to the mainland. "Kalinda!" screamed Xia as I turned in time to see a freak wave approaching. Before I could think it hit us with such a force we were all thrown from the raft. I came up to the surface and looked around and didn't see Moonika or Xia. I dove back under the water but couldn't see anything. When I surfaced I saw Xia wildly treading water. "Kalinda" she puffed. "Xia don't waste your energy just relax" I said. "Relax?" Xia yelled letting her anger show "How can I relax when Moonika might have drowned already?". "Don't say that Xia!" I said and dove under the water. The water was so murky and violent I couldn't stay under long. When I surfaced I was hit by a wave before I could even take a breath, instead I choked on seawater. I struggled to the surface again but was hit by a wave that toppled me over and over. I was so dizzy I didn't know what way was up and what way was down. Before I knew what I was doing I swam in the direction I guessed was the surface. Then just as quickly as I was hit by the wave I was pulled by something. A current and a violent one at that. I was sent flying through the water I opened my eyes to see I was being driven towards rocks. I scrambled to get out of the current but was too weak from the lack of oxygen. The last thing I saw was a rock coming towards me at a deadly speed.
