Run! I told myself, I was in so much pain I could hardly see straight but I knew I had to keep on going. I teared through the bush running as fast as my feet could carry me, twigs and branches tearing at my clothes and skin. I could hear the shouts of the Agents coming from behind me I tried to run faster but my legs were so numb and heavy. I came to a wide stream with large rocks on the edges, I didn't even pause when I came to them, I was too terrified I flung myself at the nearest rock when I was on top of it I risked a glance over my shoulder and saw the Agents. The sight would have been bad enough had they not had weapons with them, everything ranging from guns to knives. A jolt of fear and adrenaline ran through my veins, I turned and leapt onto another rock then another. I was almost halfway across the stream when the sound of a bullet close to my right side whistled past causing me to panic and misjudge my next jump. My leg scaped down the side as my hands scrambled to find a hold, time seemed to slow down as I fell into the stream. Pain searing up my leg as water came into contact with it, I tried to stand up but the stream had gotten deeper in the middle. I couldn't see anything with my hair over my face I tried to brush it back only to get a mouthfull of water. I spluttered then quickly took a deep breath then swam with the current downstream, when I came up for more air I couldn't hear anything other than nature and the gurgling of the water. I looked around and saw that there were no Agents. I swam hard against the current untill I came to the bank, I struggled out of the water feeling utterly exhausted and finally feeling the full extent of my cuts and leg injury. In pain I rolled onto my back to catch my breath, after a few minutes I tried to stand up, it hurt but I knew better than to let pain get in the way. I went over into some bushes so I wouldn't be in the open and thats when I saw Kalinda tied to the trunk of a tree. I quickly ducked and crawled over to a tree near Kalinda.

"Kalinda" I whispered aware of the Agents sitting around a small fire cooking fish. She didn't hear me so I threw a small stone at her. She opened her mouth to yell out but shut it when she saw me waving at her like a mad woman. She blinked a couple of times to make sure she wasn't imagining me there. "What is that?" I heard a voice say. I looked over to where the Agents were sitting and saw the scar face guy looking at me. I ducked down and crawled back the way I had come hoping they wouldn't fire guns my way. I looked back over my shoulder and saw two Agents untieing Kalinda, I can't leave Kalinda there I thought. I threw myself behind a tree trying to think of an escape plan, I risked a peek out from behind the tree. I saw two men tying Kalinda's hands with rope and two searching the bush where I had been but I couldn't see the scared Agent. I bit my lip trying to think of how I could rescue Kalinda. "Hello!" said a familiar voice, I looked up to see scar face pointing a gun at me. With no time to think I flicked a leg out and jumped up readying my power. Scar face growled in pain and rage as he pulled himself and his gun up. I lunged and tried to swipe the gun from his hand but he was ready, he grabbed my arm and flung me back a step. I regained my balance and without so much as a thought I released my power on him. Watching the blue glow of my power swallow the defenseless Agent and throw him back into a tree was magikal and sometimes I forgot just what I was capable of. He was knocked unconscious when his head hit the tree, I ran over and grabbed the gun trying to remember what I had been taught when we learned how to use these things in Training. I ran off into the bushes toward the Agents camp, when I got near I squatted down and crawled slowly near the edge of the clearing. I took in the scene of the camp, two Agents guarding Kalinda and three on watch none of them seemed to have a gun on them. I put the gun in my pocket and bolted out of the bushes over to the nearest Agent, I grabbed his head and connected it on my knee making him lose consciousness. I ran up behind the second Agent hitting his head with the butt of the gun, he dropped like the rock he was. By the time I got to the thrid Agent he had already been warned by the others. I ran towards him ducking at the last second and whacking his legs out from under him before sitting on his chest holding his arms at bay. "Run!" I screamed to Kalinda, hopeing she would get away with two Agents still able to recapture her. But already she was glowing orange and I knew she would teleport somewhere safe. I heard a shout then there was a hand grabbing me from behind, I spun and saw a fist swinging around at me. I knew I had sacrificed myself to save Kalinda and now the prophecy was fullfilled.
