Further Into The Distance - Fallacy x Encre (Book Two)

Chapter 1 - The Moon

"Encre, get inside somewhere!"  I hear a woman shout.  It is Eterna, and she does not look very happy to see me wandering in the forest, again.  "Eterna... Do you ever feel like there is something waiting for you?"  I ask her as I pull down my hood.  "No, not really... I am forced to live forever, there is nothing waiting for me except for the end of a stake."  Eterna says coldly.  I am looking up at the red moon.  "You have eaten right?"  I ask.  She sighs nodding.   There is distant screaming.  "Looks like I am better off being here."  I laugh.  "Looks like it."  Eterna says.  I sigh then hear squeaking and screaming.  I pull up my hood and follow the noise.  I then see my brother.  I pull out a silver stake and grab him.  Vampires appear in front of us.  "Is that a rogue protecting... A mortal?"  I hear.  "Not possible they are holding silver."  I hear.  I then see a Vampire that is pure black with blue extending from his closed eyes in a spiked fashion.  He is leaning against a tree arms crossed.  I feel like running to him for some reason.  "Let them be... There are more mortals in the village up ahead."  They say opening their eyes red and yellow in both eyes and blue in his left.  I then hear 'Fallacy.' My eyes are focused on him.  I then see a vampire coming towards me out of the corner of my eye.  I let the stake drop and there is string wrapped around it.  "Stay back..."  I growl.  "Brother... I am scared."  Paint says holding onto me. The black Vampire's eyes widen.  I swing the stake and the vampires all jump back.  I then take the advantage and take off. "Do not follow him, he is going into rogue territory."  I hear the one I could not keep my eyes off of say.  I keep going and I go into the trees.  I then run up a tree with Paint in my arms.  A friend of mine then flies up seeing me.  I land in his arms as his wings extend outwards.  

Time skip...

We land in the rogue village.  I am holding Paint in my arms due to him falling asleep. G rolls his eyes at me.  "I cannot believe you went up against the Lords and the King!"  He shouts at me.  I shrug.  "Ugh... Encre!!!"  He says following me into the house we share. "You stress me out Encre!"  He says.  "You stress yourself out."  I laugh. "Not funny... Fallacy, is not usually that merciful... Oh, wait~... He usual viscously kills his victims."  G shouts at me.  "I am too cute of course he spared me~"  I coo.  "You were wearing your cloak, no one can see how cute you are when they cannot see you." G says opening the door for me.  We then go inside.  "I guess he could not resist my eyes~."  I say smirking.  "Your night vision looks like everyone else's eyes when they are hungry."  I hear G protest.  "He did not even bother to attack me that is the lucky thing... Neither me or Paint are injured... Remember focus on the good things, G."  I state as I put Paint in my bed.  G growls at me.  "Jeez!!! You even almost got killed by Eterna saving that Kip kid!!!"  He shouts.  "Hey!!! He was caught!!! I was not going to let someone die if I can do something about it!!!"  I shout back.  "Ugh!  Encre!  You are going to get yourself killed!"  He says angrily.  "Well I would rather be killed protecting the people I care about then growing old and having to be taken care of."  I growl at him as we exit the bedroom.   G quietly closes the door before coming over to me.  "Plus... Who would take care of a mortal?"  I growl more at myself as I sit down on the couch.   G sighs coming over to me.  He then pushes me down surprising me.  He is pinning me down.   I try to push him off me.  "G!!!"  I shout at him.  "Shut up!" He growls at me before kissing me.   I try to push him off of me but he pushes my chest down hard.   I then relax into the kiss seeing no way out of it.  G relaxes as well. He pulls back blushing.  "Encre... I have no idea... What came over me..."  He says blushing.  I feel compelled to kiss him again suddenly.   I open my eyes to see him looking down at me.  I am breathing heavily.   He lets go of my hands and sits so he is straddling me.  "Encre... I am so sorry..."  He says.  I then sit up and kiss him gently.   He is shocked by that.   I pull away from him undoing my shirt easily.   "Now that you put me in heat... Finish what you started."  I say pulling him down with me.  I pull him into a heated kiss.

Time skip...

I am taking my daily walk when I see a carriage go past me.   It comes to a stop quickly and I hide.  "Come out from hiding."  I hear.  I come out from hiding.  Eterna sees me and groans.  "Encre... Stop coming out of no where, it is freaky!"  She says hoping off the back of a carriage.   "Why is there the scent of blood on you?"  Eterna asks me.  "Who is in the carriage?"  I ask.  "The Vampire king."  She says confused.  "So tempted to lie, but multiple Mortals came near my village... I had some fun this morning is all."  I state.  "Ugh, be more careful, you are just as weak as they are."  Eterna snaps at me.   "I might be a mortal like them, but I am not as weak as they are... Now have fun, with his highness."  I say smirking.  "Hey! I am not like you!"  She snaps at me.  "I bet you wished that."  I state before going back into the trees.  I then go to my destination... Lord Night's castle.   

Once I arrive there I land where I usually do.  Lord Night is waiting for me.  "Encre..." he says worriedly.  "I am fine, just got caught up in a few things."  I laugh.  "I see... Well we cannot talk long today, Fallacy will be here shortly as well as the other Lords."   Lord Night says panicked.  "I will sneak out like I usually do... There is no worry Lord Night."  I say holding his hand gently. "Encre... There are a few things I need to tell you..."  He says sitting down with me on the wooden bench.  "Was it another dream?"  I ask soothingly.  He nods.  "Tell me what did you see?" I say calmly.  "I was running from something then I stopped.  I turned around and then I died... I have no idea what I was running from in my dream."  He says. "That is easy to explain..."  I say smiling gently.  "It is?"  He asks.  I nod. "What is something you worry about, or have gotten tired of worrying about?" I ask him. "I do not know..." he says frowning. "Once you figure it out... Stop running from the fact that it is there, and it will end... Death in dreams do not mean death in reality Lord Night, but the end of something.  It could be good or bad, it all depends."  I say smiling.  Lord Night smiles and says "Thank you, Encre... But may I ask about something else?"  I nod.  "I saw in a dream... That you and Fallacy are together, is that true?"  He asks.  "I have no clue who Fallacy is, other than that he is the king of Vampires.  I have no need to kneel to him if I am to see him.  He is not my Lord or my King."   I say softly placing a hand on Lord Night's cheek.  "I would hate to see him take you from us... You are so kind to us, me and Lord Furry."  Lord Night says.   "Well you both help me as well, do not think it is one sided."  I say caressing his cheek.  He places a hand over mine.  "Lord Night?"  I hear.   "Take care of yourself Lord Night."  I say gently.  Lord Night holds onto me a bit tighter before letting go.  I pull out a card.  "If you need me, I will come."  I say passing it to him.  He nods.  "Not yet... Encre..." Lord Night says holding it to his chest.   "You have company coming, and I have my people to look after, my day is going to be busy today as well."  I say gently.  "Live with me!  You will never have to do such acts!"  He says standing up.  I smile at the offer.  I kiss his hand gently.  "Do you really want to live with a rogue tramp?"  I laugh gently.  "If it would keep you safe... Then yes."  Lord Night says holding my hand tightly.   I smile at the offer.   "I would never put your good name to ashes, Lord Night... Now please... You have company."  I say moving towards him.  I kiss his cheek softly, before taking my leave.
