Chapter 10 - The First Life

I am stuck in my booth till I can walk and have been stuck in there for a week. I still look sexy as all shit though. Paint and I are laying down together currently and I am watching a bar fight. Beer is flying and there is fighting. Paint is a heavy ass sleeper, by now. I then lift a hand and twirl a finger. My magic stops everything. "You are all highly entertaining but I like this place, so stop messing around." I say bluntly before fixing everything. They are all in their usual seats and then I see someone at the door. They come over to me quickly and whisper "There is a leader wanting to challenge you, and they are not revealing, their identity." I groan. "Damn it..." I growl. I look down at Paint. "Show me your face first." I state not recognizing the voice. They show their face and it is Fell, except for he has a crack across his mouth. I cup his face and he tries to pull away. My eyes go green and he stops moving. I then swipe a finger along the wound and it heals instantly. "Thank you, leader." He says as I let go of him. I then make sure Paint is safe. I force myself to stand as I switch my attire. I close the curtains and turn into magic before anyone gets a good look at me. Fell follows behind me quickly. I form outside The Hole. I see the cloaked figure and they laugh seeing me. Fell growls at the disrespect. "You are the leader? That is amusing." I hear them say. I then turn into magic and appear behind them. "I know I look cute, but you challenged me. Deal with the consequences of your choice." I say darkly. They whip around and jump back. I am smirking cruelly while my eyes glow bright green. I can feel a hunger for blood suddenly. I chuckle, before taking a step towards them. I bite back the pain as they start to attack me. I dodge mostly till they grab a hold of me. I then reverse the situation and I twist behind them holding their arm behind them. Their hood falls and then the contract comes into play. I let go of them right away and growl. They turn around surprised. "Shit... It is someone he has a contract with and it is... THE KING!!!" Fell shouts. My followers are already kneeling, knowing I cannot beat the king. I start to kneel as well. My head bowing. "Oh god... Rain has half population of rogues and he looks pissed at this." I hear. Fallacy is looking down at me as I am glaring up at him. He kneels down in front of me. He smiles softly then I feel myself falling. I see only cave above me and then I land on my back. I roll over grabbing my side. "Fallacy..." I growl darkly. I then stand up. "Who the hell is that?" I hear as I retract my teeth and try to calm down. "I recognize him, he is Rainbow from that quiz show thing." I hear. I groan hearing my stage name. "Encre?" I hear. I look around then there is a skeleton in skimpy attire. "Do I know you?" I ask coldly. My posture straightens out and I am much taller than them. They shrink back slightly. "No... I thought you were someone else." They say. I nod, before turning into a bat. I hide by the end of the forest.

14 hours later...

I have not slept and will not sleep, due to this strange place. People with no modesty, they are literally having sex everywhere. Suddenly I see a skeleton wandering around, they are different from the others in the world and they are with a smaller one. The colours black and red the tall one is wearing. The small one is wearing mostly blue. The small one looks up at me then I turn into a bat before flying deeper into the forest. "I found him!" I hear. I am hiding near the top of a tree. I can hear the hurried crunch of snow beneath me. "Blue... You probably saw a bird. He is mortal remember?" I hear. I smirk. I see them and I smell blood. I drop down towards the tall one. I have magic ready to kill them. The tall one stops and I land in front of the small one. I smirk cruelly, my fangs extended while my eyes shine. The little one looks scared. "No... Encre... You aren't bad! You are good remember!" The small one says. I see the tall one getting ready to fight. "Edge!!! No!!!" The small one screams at the tall skeleton. I just chuckle. "Just get away from me... Leave me to starve." I growl turning away my posture threatening. "No... We are here to bring you to Fallacy!!!" The small one says. I punch a tree hard and it breaks. "I would rather be staked a thousand times in the soul." I growl marching away. "Blue... Something happened during this timeline... Encre is not the same." I hear as I continue to walk into the cold.

Months later...

I am sleeping in a small cavern inside this huge cave. My clothes had become rags, right now I have my cloak wrapped around me to keep warmer. I even have a small fire to keep the cave warm. "RAIN!!!" I hear someone yell. I remain silent as I hear the crackle of the fire. I close my eyes for a few moments. I then open them to see the fire dimming. I add a few more logs. It takes a few moments before the flames start again. I have not eaten since the day prior to me landing in this world. I no longer have blood within me, as I am starving myself. The hunger I am feeling is painful, but I just ignore it. "ENCRE!!!!" I hear someone scream from nearby. The blood lust is spiking but I hold down the urge to eat. I close my eyes leaning my head against the cave wall. "There is a cave over here!" I hear from just outside the cave. I ignore it as I adjust my legs, my spine cracks in response. I groan softly since it feels nice. My face goes back to being blank. "There is a light!" I hear from inside the cave. I crack my knuckles before resting an arm on top of a knee. I see a mouse cuddle up against me. I stroke it's head gently and smile as it curls into my hand. I gently pick it up and hold it in my palm, my hand slightly shaking due to the lack of food. "There is someone here... Look." I hear. I stroke the little mouse's head before setting it down. It scampers off away from the intruders. I am manipulating the fire now to keep from being bored. I open my eyes to see my name. I then make fireworks and smirk seeing the sparks. "Encre..." I hear. "My lord..." I hear. I then smell blood and my mouth waters. I act like there is nothing wrong and I do not see, hear, or smell them. I close my eyes again and focus on something else. "Encre... Have you eaten?" I hear. I ignore them. "Has he gone deaf?" I hear someone laugh. "He is ignoring us... He feels betrayed." I hear Lord Furry's voice say. I feel tears in my eyes but they freeze in place. I pick up a rock and scratch at the floor adding another word. I hear gasps. I then feel someone near me. "Encre... Please bite me... Your eyes have lost colour and you have no blood." I hear. "Let me starve... Fallacy did not kill me, so I must follow the law and kill myself." I state calmly. "What?" I hear. "It is rogue law, when a leader can no longer fight they are to be killed or they kill themselves." I state. "Then why starve?" I hear Lord Furry's voice ask. "Because that is what I said I would do to my followers... If I were to loose and not be killed, I would starve myself till the point of death..." I state harshly as more tears weld up in my eyes at the smell of the blood. "Please come home with me... You will never have to see Fallacy or another rogue... If you want, I can retrieve your brother." Lord Furry says. "Please... Just take care of my brother... I must honour the law and die... Lord Fallacy did not kill me, so I must do it myself." I state softly. "I will..." Lord Furry says holding my hand. "You are so cold..." He says. "I lost feeling a week ago." I state softly. "I did not know..." I hear. I feel my mind going fuzzy and everything is going numb suddenly. "Please... Take care... Of my brother..." I say softly as five contract appear in front of me. They burn as I fall side ways turning to dust as my HP goes to zero.
