Tobi secured an arm around my waist as I plopped down on the bed, attempting to fall asleep. But somehow... Someway... Tobi seemed to be making this goal impossible. "Tobi-kun...." I mummered, frowning. "I want to sleep,"

"So do I!"

A wry smile found it's way on my face, "Mhm.... So your sitting here talking to yourself in a gibberish JUST so you could fall asleep?" I replied doubtfully, evading his incoming lips. He rolled his eyes and sighed as I turned around in his arms, showing him my back.

"Are you still made at me for that explosion? It was Deidara's fault!"

"But it was YOU who antagonized him to go into Yakabushi's room and try to blow you up!" I snapped, shivering. He sighed and pulled me closer to his chest

"You still haven't gotten over his death have you?" He whispered, more of a statement then a question.

I shut my eyes tightly, "It's already been a year.... My birthday has gone by.... His.... Apparently no longer celebrated.... In a couple weeks... It'll officially be a ye-" I was interrupted by somebody banging on the door loudly, making Tobi jumped slightly. He sighed and untangled himself from me before standing up and putting his mask back on, he opened the door.

"Yes?" He asked, an annoyed tone slipping into his usually happy 'behind the mask' voice.

Kisame stared him down anyway, "Pain-sama wants you two, he has a mission," I sighed and rolled out of bed.

"So much for sleeping.." I muttered, following Tobi as he walked out the room. He grasped my hand, and I walked closer to him, "What does he want?" I asked as we walked into the living room.

"In a word.... Kyuubi. We want you two to get info on the Jinchuriki of Konoha.." Pain-sama answered.

I brightened, "So we'll be spying on Naruto-kun!?" I exclaimed happily, jumping up and down, I started to spin around, "WOOOOOO BACK TO KONO-" I looked around, as everybody, except Tobi, were staring at me with amused/confused/dumbstruck/annoyed expressions. "What?"

"You know the Jinchuriki of the Leaf?" Pain-sama intoned, staring at me with those creepy eyes if his.

"Uh.... Yeah. He's like... My b- Wait... Why do you want us to get all this information anyway?" I asked narrowing my eyes. Tobi took my hand into his again and squeezed it tightly, exchanging a look with Itachi and Kisame who both nodded, Pain-sama indicated that he should tell me the information that I was requesting. "Naki-chan..... We're planning on extracting the tailed beast's out of the Jinchuriki's.... And.... Um.... That'll end up....." My eyes widened.

"KILLING THEM!?" I exclaimed, my voice going an octave higher. Tobi nodded solemly, making me frown "Why!?"

Pain-sama interjected, "To stop all war! Having the power of all the tailed beast will put fear into the people's hearts! Making them to afraid to goto war against our power!" I blinked, and dropped Tobi's hand, backing away. "You'll be murdering.... Millions!" I whimpered in horror.

"It won't be murder! We'll be saving tens of millions!" Pain-sama shot back, a crazed happy look in his eyes.

"You won't be saving anybody! By murdering millions! You'll tear families apart, orphans, widows, Whole cities gone! It's a waste of human life and resources!" I exclaimed, backing away closer to the door. I turned away slightly. "I'm.... Going..... To think for a while..." I mummered, checking my inside cloak pockets to make sure I had my IPod and Sketchbook. Tobi reached out a hand to me, stepping close.
