I couldn’t believe it. Max! told him to come. Ugh! Its not that I don’t like Justin is just he seems like the type of guy I wouldn’t like to be friends with. In other words he seems like a player. Well I couldn’t start thinking about that right now, I had to keep my head in the game. We won. All the girls were cheering and yelling. Max ran to me and hugged me tight he said
“Good job girl!” I smiled. I was out of breath.
And said “I’m going to go get water”.
I walked to the water fountain and was thinking maybe I should give Justin a chance he might not be the guy I think he might be. So I walked back to where everyone was at.
“Nice game. You’re a good player” Justin said.
“thanks” I said with a big smile.
“Alright girls let go!” Kyle said.
“What? Were are we going?” I asked
“Man Isabella you forget everything. Don’t you remember the bet we had? The one where YOU said that we will all go to Slice (The pizza place) every time you guys won a game?” he said.
“oh right. I’m sorry I can’t go I have a bunch of homework and tomorrow I have a test in English.” I said.
“Come on Isabella you know you don’t.” Max said.
He came over and put his arm around me and said “It’s okay it was a long time ago. Forget about it.”
Then Massie and her big mouth said “Bella get over it. It was a long time ago.”
“Massie shut up!” Max said.
I climbed inside my car and went with them without saying a word, I felt ashamed. While I was driving I was thinking why I forgot that we always went to Slice. Then I realized that the last tournament that we won we went there and I was with my boyfriend Nicholas. We were celebrating about our victory. When I found him cheating on me. He said it was nothing but I wasn’t going to believe him so I broke up with him. But even tough I broke up with him I felt so bad because in that very spot my heart drop into tiny little pieces and I felt like my intestine was going to come up my throat. When I got to the parking lot. I came out of the car. And looked at the sign that said Slice it reminded me of how my heart was sliced. Anyways I tried to not think about him but I just couldn’t. I acted like nothing was wrong and I sat down. We order a humongus pizza. My best friend Camila comes over and whispers in my ear and says
“ Baby girl everything is going to be alright just keep you head high okay.” “
Okay. Thanks. You’re the best.” I said.
Camila has always been there for me since we were in 7th grade. I love her. Even tough she’s not really my sister. She knows everything about me and even then she still loves me.
“Can I sit here?” Justin asked.
That was Nicholas seat
“umm sure.” I said.
“So why don’t you like coming here?” he asks.
“um”
“I mean its none of my business its okay if you don’t want to answer me.” He says.
“No its okay um… well I had a boyfriend and um I thought he was the one for me. But it turned out to be that he was not. And this place reminds me of him.” I said while a tear came running down my cheek.
“Oh i’m sorry I didn’t want to make you cry” he said. “ I‘m not crying, it‘s ok don‘t worry about it.” I said while quickly wiping the tear of my cheek. The pizza came and we all digged in. We ate. Surprisingly me and Justin had an amazing time talking about a lot of stuff. It was a non-stop conversation. Camila as always brought her camera and took pictures. We had a nice time. We took weird random and crazy pictures. And at the end Camila with her ideas told me to take a picture with Justin we did. I felt very awkward, but tried not to show it. After that silliness we had eating pizza taking pictures and talking we finally finished and left. Me and Camila said Bye to everyone and got in my car. Were talking, singing and acting crazy. We were both excited that we were going to have a blast in my house. Camila never really liked being at home, her home was actually my house. We got home and my older brother David said
