"Um...just making sure. Because they way he raced out of here a couple weeks ago. He looked hurt."
"Of course. I'm with a man that he could never be."
I mentally rolled my eyes and gagged at the lies I just told this man.
"Okay...so you ready for lunch ?"
"Yes let me get my things."
I grabbed my purse and phone standing up from behind my desk. After logging off my computer I walked over to the other side where Aaron stood from his chair , pulling his hand in the arch of my back.
I squeezed my eyes closed for a second trying to relax.
I hated when he touched me.
He led me through my office door and down the hall. Where everybody was standing. I know they were thinking I was just with August a few months ago now I'm with Aaron but it's none of their business what I do.
As we made it to the elevator my eyes shifted over to Trish who was sitting behind her desk already looking at me.
"I'll have her back around 2:30 Latrisha."
Trish slightly nodded putting on this fake smile that almost made me laugh.
Finally making it down to lobby and out the doubt doors. Aaron led us over to his Benz.
The same Benz August seen me getting out of.
I could tell Aaron was so proud of this car and trying to one up August. Taking me to all these fancy restaurants and stores. But what he doesn't know is that my bay got just as much money as him if not more.
It might not a legal but it's there and August doesn't show his money off.
Once we were in the car and Aaron pulled out of the parking lot. I pulled out my phone going to August's text messages making sure dick head over there wasn't looking.

Locking my phone and throwing it in my purse. I started out the window trying to relax. Even though August told me he was right behind us I still felt uncomfortable.
We pulled up to a restaurant at about 45 minutes of driving.
I opened my door before Aaron could which caused him to roll his eyes.
"I see that hoodlum didn't show you how a real woman is suppose to be treated. A man opens the door for his lady."
Hearing him trying to down talk August made me side eye him. I had to calm myself down though.
