8 years , 2,920 days , 70,080 hours and counting is how long August has been gone.
Everything is so different without him here. He refused for any of us to see him , but he does write and send pictures. I keep him updated on the kids everything but it's not the same.
When he was locked up before I got to see him at least and it kind of helped with void. But now I'm broken and no one could pick the pieces.
Trust me many have tried , I've even tried to let them but I could never let my August go. No matter how many times in his letters he tells me to move on. That it's okay , it's just doesn't feel right to me. I made him promise I plan on keeping.
We ride together until that casket drops.
The love in my heart for him will never fade and every time I look into my sons eyes it grows even stronger.
Anthony might look like me but he is his father all the way. He's 10 now and feels like it's his job to protect me and girls until his dad gets back.
Even though his uncles are around faithfully , he feels as though he's the man of the house and he has to the man. He has to be strong for us. I know he misses his father doe.
Hell we miss him but this brought us closer as a family.
No we all don't live together anymore. With Trish having another baby after her and Corey's son , Chris and Robyn having their daughter Royalty , and Cj having his son with his girlfriend Ashley we decided it was more than time to live on our own.
Don't get me wrong though I still see everybody almost every day. We no longer live in New York , we actually went along with Cj plan and moved to the beautiful islands of Barbadoes.
With my money and August money well mostly August's money , I was able to get the kids and I a great home.

Trish , Robyn , and I decided to open up a beautiful salon together. Where your can come and get your hair , nails , and make up done. It's been open for about 5 years now and doing pretty I might add.
