Birdway's The Word

"Be on the look out for any strange shadows." said Six speaking into his com link. "Blackout can pretty much morph and merge with any kind of dark spot he can find. The entire store has already been evacuated."

Bobo scratched his sore head. "Man, when I find that overgrown black blob I'm going to smash him so hard...."

"We'll find him." Said Six. "Rex is already near the frozen food section, we should be able to.."

Suddenly Six was kicked to the ground by a blonde man wearing a suit. Six got up quickly and pointed his swords at the man. "And who might you be...?"

"What the heck?" said Bobo. "Are we being attacked by blonde butlers now?"

"The name's Mark Space." said the man his face expressionless. "My magic name is Armare091. And I cannot allow you to pursue Mr. Tennyson."

"He's a magician." said Six now looking even more cautious.

"Magic?" said Bobo increduosly. "The only magic I'm interested in is the magical taste of a cheese pizza with a side of caviar. And maybe the taste of a winning all the poker chips I can hold in my deep pockets."

"A gambling monkey." said Mark Space. "Amusing..."

Mark Space took a stack of playing cards out and began shuffling them in his hands casually. "So which one of you will make the first move...?"

Six moved with astounding speed slicing his two swords at Mark Space. Quick as lightning Mark Space threw a card which stuck into a shelf behind Six like a blade. "Ace of Swords...."

Mark Space dissapeared and reappeared in the blink of an eye where the card was.

"He's fast!!" exclaimed Bobo.

"This isn't speed." said Six. "This is magic."

Meanwhile, Leivinia Birdway was walking down the meat aisle section with Ben Tennyson who had reverted back to his human form.

"I know I've seen you before...." said Ben trying to remember. "And it had something to do with Ultimate Humungousaur for some reason.....but the memory is foggy..."

"All will be explained in time. "said Birdway. "For now we just need to get out of here. My associalte Mark Space should be taking care of the Providence agents....most of them anyways."

"Yeah, all of them except me." A hispanic boy who looked about Ben's age was standing in the middle of the meat aisle, blocking Birdway and Ben's path. He wore an orange and yellow jacket and orange motorcycle goggles.

"Name's Rex." said the boy grinning. "Just your resident go to guy to put the mega hurt on any bad guy. Don't worry little girl, I'll take on this dude before anyone get's hurt!"

"Oh dear." said Birdway rolling her eyes. "He seems to think I'm your hostage."

"What!?" Said Ben. "Since when am I some sort of lowdown shmuck who would do that?!"

"Never." said Birdway. "But he doesn't know that...."

Rex's hands suddenly morphed into ginormous metal robotic fists. "Now, are you going to come quietly, or am I gonna have to force feed you some knuckle sandwhiches!?"

"Well he seems awfully full of himself." said Ben. Ben had seen Rex on the news before, supposedly he was some guy who could build weaponized machines out of his body and fight with them, Providence's number one weapon.

'Well what are you waiting for?" said Birdway with a bored expression. "He obviously isn't going down without a fight.."

Ben activated the Omnitrix and instantly morphed into the tiger like Rath.

"Let me tell ya somethin' Rex Salazar Weapon of Providence!!!!" shouted Rath. "You better get out of Rath's way, or Rath will put the major hurt down on you!!!"

"So the hard way it is!" shouted Rex, jumping at Rath and lashing out his metal fist*.

Rath leapt out of the way as the giant metal fist  smashed a refrigerated shelf near him. Rath leapt at Rex roaring and put his fists in an over head blow at Rex's head. Rex blocked the blow with his metal fists and launched them outwards, throwing Rath back.

Rath landed on his feet 12 meters away. "Let me tell ya somthin Rex Salazar, guy who likes to build machines out of his body!!! If you think that's all Rath has got, then you're sadly mistaken, cause Rath has got a whole lot more!!!!! Cause that's how Rath's mojo works yo!!!!!"

Rex demorphed his hands and then morphed his right arm into a giant 12 foot long sword. "All right then, just show me how much your mojo....huh?"

Birdway had just walked straight up to Rex. "My, my, you're a bold one aren't you?"

"Hey..." said Rex. "Not to be a bummer or anything, but its not safe here-"

Suddenly Rex was blasted back 20 meters by a huge wall of flames. Leivinia was twirling around her wooden wand with a strangely crazed smile. "Such a presumptious one, for you to think that I was the hostage.....when in reality, you're the one whose about to become the hostage here."

Rex got up from the floor, (thanks to the nanites that reinforce his skin and bones, Rex can withstand hard blows and attacks much better then normal humans... his durability compared to Ben's aliens are about near that of Crashhopper or Blitzwolfer) "Alright! Looks like you're a little more then you look huh? Well then..."

Rex swung his sword at  Birdway and Rath. Rath launched himself at Birdway and carried her out of the way as the blade cut the surrounding shelves cleanly in half.

"Let me tell ya somethin' Rex Salazar!!" shouted Rath. "No one beats Rath!!! I'm gonna bash ya tell your purple!!!"

"I was going to say the same thing!" said Rex. "Only in Spanish!"

Suddenly a Rex fell to ground in surprise as a powerful electric current coursed through him from behind. "YOOWWW!! What the heck!?"

Walking torwards Rex from behind was Misaka Mikoto. "Seriously Ben....I leave you alone for even ten minutes, and all of Hell breaks loose."

"Man, are all the girls in this joint crazy!?" said Rex morphing his arms into giant metal cylinders with blue blades on the sides.

Suddenly Rath grabbed Rex from behind and smashed him into the ground. "Polarus Piledriver!!!"

Rath then threw Rex through an entire row of shelves, wrecking the place. Rath jumped into the air and smashed into Rex with his fists before Rex could get up.

"YA GOT ANYMORE STUPID THINGS TO SAY ABOUT RATH'S GIRLFRIEND!!?"

"Uhh.....no?"

"THEN PEACE OUT YO!!!"

Rath smashed his fist into Rex's head and knocked him out.

As Rath reverted back into the form of Ben, Mikoto walked over to Ben and pulled on his ear. "Ow..Ow! Mikoto!?"

"The next time you get yourself into trouble like that.." said Mikoto sternly. "You had better make sure I'm around with you! Got it!?"

Ben grinned sheepishly. "Sorry....my bad."

"Kevin's busy beating up the agents at the entrance of the store." said Mikoto. "We had better get going.."

"She is quite right." said Birdway casually. "It won't be long before they are here........."

"What do you mean?" asked Ben. "Who else is coming?"

"Just the two of the most powerful magic organizations in the world." said Birdway. "And I believe one of them brought a saint level magic user with them.........I'm sure you're familiar with Kanzaki Kaori.."

"Necessarius found us?" said Mikoto gritting her teeth. "Not good."

"Oh it won't be a problem..." said Birdway. "After all, they aren't the only ones with their own organization of followers...."
