The Ultimates and The Pack

"Okay....." said Gunha. "We're here"

Ben, Gunha, and Mikoto had been sneaking around the lab compound fo 4 hours. It had been easier to sneak back in then Ben thought. After all the first time Mikoto and Ben got in, it wasn't much of a sneaking in, more like a smashing in, especially since he had turned into a giant alien monster dog and beat up the guards. But this time it had been different.

By using a network of passages that Gunha had dug himself using his esper ability, they were able to sneak into the middle of the lab relatively undetected. Besides Ben and Mikoto, Gunha had also brought with him three girls in combat clothing, all of them wearing belts equipped with timed explosives. The plan was that after the prisoners were freed, the place would be blown sky high.

Ben and the others snuck through the large metal halways, checking for anyone who might interfere. Once or twice, they came upon some security mechs. But Ben merely had to go Big Chill and freeze them before they knew what was going on, and it was all clear. Finally the group seemed to reach a dead end.

"It's a door....." said Gunha. "But it's got tech in it that interferes with esper abilities....not even I could get through it."

"Then it's a good thing that esper abilities aren't all we've got." said Ben. "Sorry, it looks like stealth's out the window now."

In a flash of green light, Ben turned into Humungousaur and punched the wall hard causing it to dent.

"Okay...." said Humungousaur punching the wall repeatidly. "This thing's made of harder stuff then I thought."

Humungousaur gave one final punch and the door gave way, falling inwards with a deafening clang. "And, open sesame."

Humungousaur lumbered inwards followed by the others as they beheld one of the most awful sights they had seen in this city so far.

There were hundreds upon hundreds of jail cells, each of them either filled with students who were level 0s or aliens that were huddled up in inhumane conditions. Some of the prisoners got up and peered at the new arrivals through their bars, as if wondering what terror awaited them next.

"I think I'm going to be sick..." said Mikoto staring at the horrid scene.

"I think I'm already sick." said Humungousaur covering his mouth.

Mikoto stepped away cautiously. Vaxisaurian vomit was not something any soul wanted to be close to.

"Alright." said Gunha. "I estimate there's 50 prisoners here........which is probably all that's left."

"All that's left?" said Humungousaur. "Are you serious?"

"Not many of us survived what they did....." said one of the prisoners nearby, a Level 0 who looked around 13. "We're what you might call the leftovers....."

"Now I really am sick..." said Mikoto holding her stomach.

"I told you not to eat that crepe in France." said Humungousaur. "Sour cream and straberries don't mix."

Gunha nodded at the girls who came with them. "Unlock all the doors, when they're free, we'll make our own exit.."

The girls got made to go to what looked like the main terminal for the locks. That's when things got tricky.....Suddenly a monstrous looking machine wolf monster came down from the cieling and swiped at one of the girls with his claws, Biowulf walked over his victim as she bled on the floor.

"What the!?" said Gunha. "Who the heck are you!!?"

"My name is of no concern." said Biowulf. "I am here for Tennyson."
