After Sonic and Silver finished their chili dogs, they walked off.
"Okay, now tell me about your problem," Sonic said. "What's on your mind?" "Well...it's uh...," Silver began, but then he got cut off from someone who skated by. "Woah!" Sonic yelled. And then, the skater stopped and smirked.
"Shadow?" Silver asked. "You bet it's me," he said. "What's going on?" "Silver has a problem," Sonic said. "Well doesn't he always?" Shadow asked. "Shut up," Silver said, angrily. Sonic chuckled and said, "Silver, he's just joking!" "Yeah sure," Silver said.
"Anyway, what is the problem?" Shadow asked. "I uh...well," Silver said. "I...sort of...have this feeling." "What kind of feeling?" Shadow asked. "It's...like...when I'm close to Blaze...she makes me feel...wow," Silver explained, nervously. "You mean, like a crush?" Sonic asked. "Well...I guess," Silver replied. "You have a crush on Blaze? After like what, five years?" Shadow asked. "Hey! It's what I feel okay?" Silver asked. "And Blaze is the only one that makes me feel that way!"
"Geez, calm down!" Sonic yelled. "If you really feel that way? Why don't you just tell her?" "I can't," Silver said. "I'm afraid she doesn't feel that way. I'm sure she still sees me as the pathetic, naive little hedgehog that got kicked in the back of the head."
"Wait what?" Sonic asked. "Who kicked you in the back of the head?" Sonic then turned to Shadow, and Shadow snickered.
"Well forget about that," Sonic said. "I'm sure she still likes you and that she missed you after all those years." "You think so?" Silver asked. "I'm positive. But I'm no "love expert" okay?" Sonic asked. "Well, do you know someone who is?" Silver asked.
Sonic paused, then took a deep breath, and said, "I...know someone." "Okay. Can you take me to him? Or her I don't know," Silver asked. "Um...sure...okay," Sonic said.
Sonic then ran off, and Silver and Shadow followed him.
