A few minutes of running away later, Silver finally stopped. He looked up at the night sky above him.
"I knew it," he said. "I knew it all along. I'm just pathetic." He then saw Amy. Amy saw him and ran to him. "Hi Silver! How did it go? What did she say? What did you say? What did she say when she said what you said?" Amy asked, frantically. "I couldn't say anything," Silver said, looking down. "Well did you read the cards?" Amy asked. "Yes, but, they didn't help at all," Silver said, sadly. "Oh," Amy said. "Why?" She asked. "I panicked, okay?" Silver asked. "It was easier talking to Blaze before, but now...after five years...it's hard."
"Don't be sad, Silver," Amy said. "You'll have another chance. Look, I'm here to help you, Silver. Tomorrow, I'm going to give you another tip on how to talk to her." "But what if it doesn't work?" Silver asked. "Then we'll try it again," Amy said. "The point is, we're not gonna give up. Heroes don't give up."
Silver paused for a moment, then said, "I guess you're right." "Of course I'm right," Amy said. "Now come on, if you want, I can take you home." "I don't have anywhere to stay," Silver said. "I know, but I mean like, you can stay at my place," Amy said with a smile. "Wait, really?" Silver asked, surprised. "Of course," Amy said. "Why are you being so nice to me?" Silver asked. "Because why not? Also, I love love and romance. I want to do everything I can to bring you two together." She then took his hand and walked him to her house. "Oh...well...thanks," Silver said. "No problem," Amy said. She then took Silver back to her house, and sent him to the guest bedroom. "Here's where you're staying," Amy said. "Sorry if it's a little messy." Silver then used his telekinesis to move some of the stuff around. He placed some of the things back to where they belonged, and fixed the bed a bit. And then a few minutes later, the room was clean. "Wow," Amy said, surprised. "Okay then." Silver chuckled at his work. "Well, good night Silver," Amy said. "Good night Amy," Silver said. She then gave him a peck on the cheek and left. Silver blushed, and touched his cheek. "Wow..." Silver said.
He then settled himself on the bed with his arms folded back behind his head. He thought of the moment to what happened between him and Blaze. "I can't believe I was so stupid to just run out on her like that," Silver said. "She's probably gonna be mad at me the next time we meet." He then got in the sheets, and rested his head on the pillows. "But...what I liked best about her was...her smile," he said, smiling. "Her smile looked so beautiful. I wish I could've smiled with her." He then closed his eyes, and fell asleep.
A few hours later, the dark figure rose beside Silver from under the bed. It looked down at him smiling. (Rise of the Guardians confirmed.) "Hehehe, me too Blaze," Silver said, blushing in his sleep. "How adorable," it said. "He's dreaming about Blaze. Maybe I oughta check this out...."
He then touched Silver, and disappeared in a puff of smoke.
