Jay's Pov
I woke up this morning, not knowing what to do with my life. I realized that my break is going to be over soon. School is coming up, and I start cheerleading practice in a week. It's been a month. Kenny and I have been cool. Its like having everything you want.
I checked my phone and I get the usual, Kenny telling me plans. My sister telling me to come get her from her friend, or give her Zaxby's, voicemails from my friends because I "wake up too late." It's literally like 12 in the afternoon. Finally a text from Angelo, that's a new. I looked at my message from Angelo it was from last night.
MESSAGES:
Angelo: Yo, you need to check up on Kenny.
Angelo: Like fr, if you sleep get up
Angelo: We over here at a party, and this girl keep saying she gone f*** Kenny
Angelo: I'm gone beat his a** for yah
Angelo: We almost fought
Angelo: D said he think they did it!
Angelo: OML BRUHHH HE DID
Angelo: I'm coming over tomorrow

I was now crying, and I could feel my face getting hot. I turned around crying in my pillow. Out of all people, HE cheated. MY "BESTFRIEND."
I started to think about it and decided to just get dressed and try and brush it off. Angelo was coming over later, so I got us some drinks, I also invited D, since his girlfriend is in LA.
I was walking around Walmart, suddenly I bumped into this girl, and she dropped her things. I helped her pick it up
"I'm sorry" I said helping
"You good girl" She said smiling. "Hey, do I know you? Eastwood High?" She questioned the school I go to.
"Yeah" I said
"Your names Jay right?"
"Yeah how'd you know?" I asked little creeped
"Eric always talks about you. He always says how he would do you or whatever" She said shrugging
"We aren't even together." I mumbled rolling my eyes
"What y'all don't talk anymore?" She asked as if she really doesn't know
"Girl, he is so irrelevant."
"Here is my number call me" She said giving me her number
"Alright" I said smiling back, noticing she was smiling

I got drinks and some snacks just because they are always eating stuff. I was still pretty sad about what Ken did. I thought about it when I got a call from him driving home. I declined and text Angelo and D, and told them to meet me. I also called Deaysha and Juanita to come over.

I walked in the house and they already here sitting on MY bed eating MY cheese puffs.
"Y'all look comfortable" I said nodding my head
"Trying to make myself at home." Angelo said
"Tru" D said tuning his lips up to the side
"Well I brought snacks and drinks, but I see y'all help yourselves to my chips" I said raising my eyebrow
"I thought it was cool everybody was eating the chips" Deaysha said
"Re-
"Bestfriend!!!!" Juanita called from the closet scaring me. She jumped on me
I haven't seen her since school got out. She's been in Chicago with her family.
She was kissing all over my face. Then I hugged her because I missed bestfriend

"I don't know, there he goes calling again." I said looking at my phone and rolling my eyes
Deaysha took my phone and started talking to him. She got up and I was trying to get the phone signing her. She was signaling me to go away.
"Yeah I get it" Deaysha said trying to mock my voice, and sounding just like me.
"But Kenny someone just did you like that" "Well that was stupid huh" "You are-" "Ok bye"
"What he say?" I asked once she was off the phone
"He's coming over"
"Dude! I don't wanna see him" I said flopping on my couch between D and Angelo
"See, if he come I'm leaving" Angelo said getting up
"Me too" D said getting up
"Juanita?" I asked questioning if she she was staying
"Yep, I wanna know what his ugly self gone say" she said crossing her arms
"Deaysha?"
"Same as Nita" She said calling her by her nickname.
I gave them hugs then they left. I told Kenny to let me cool down before I talk to him. I decided to hang with my two besties. Then they left and I got bored and started texting
