"Hey," I cringed at his nasty voice," Hey bitch! YOU!" I couldn't stop myself from breaking into a sprint. I heard the sirens go off behind me and a loudspeaker.

"Ms. Timberlake, stop running and put your hands in the air." I didn't think twice about it when I launched myself into the bushes on the side of the walk way. The cop cars screeched to a stop and the doors flew open. I struggled crawling out of the other side and jumped back into the sprint. After a few minutes I was back in the coroner's office running into the freezer.

"Hey, you miss me already," Mike said as I ran head first into his clipboard," What's wrong," The sarcasm immediately disappeared as he say the look on my face.

"Cops," I whispered. I saw a flash of frustration go across his face then he nodded and pointed to his office. I ran in shutting the door behind me and he quietly continued working. I looked around the room for a spot to hide and went to the worst spot possible... the desk. I heard the freezer door open a squeak shut. I looked up towards the window.

"Excuse me." An unfamiliar voice said.

"Uh, y-yes?" Mike said choking on his words," May I-I help y-you?" Hearing that I knew I wasn't safe here, I stood up and moved toward the window.

"Are you okay sir?" were the last words I heard before jumping onto the bark underneath the outside window. I accidently let go of the window causing the window to slam shut and crack.

"Shiiiit," I whispered to myself. Ducking under the building windows I slowly made my way to the front of the building where the cop cars were.

Idiots. I thought smiling to myself. They left the doors open and the key in. Setting down my bag I pulled Stevens jacket out and pulled the hood down on my face. I ran over and jumped in the front seat, slamming the door behind me. I turned on the car and the sirens started blaring.

"Damn! Are you fucking serious?" because of the sirens everyone in the building came flying out, I was happy to see that the cops were in the back of the crowd. I laughed out loud when I saw the shocked look on Mike's face. As the cops pushed their way to the front of the group I pulled out of the parking lot and started speeding down the street. After awhile I went into an alleyway and turned the car off. And the silence allowed my migraine to go down to a minor headache. I jumped when I heard more sirens down the street, at first I was confused then remembering everything that just happened I took off running farther into the alley. Luckily for me there was a homeless camp around the corner. I skidded to a stop in front of this old man and he just stared at me.
