"Put your hands in the air, son!" The cop yelled. "Have you seen a girl pass through here? About this tall, with brown hair and brown eyes? She's about eighteen" I mentally smacked myself, I'm nineteen and three quarters, why doesn't anyone get that?
"Uhum, no sir I don't believe I have." Blondie said deepening his voice. "But I did see a princess run through here." he said exaggerating 'Princess'. Rolling my eyes I stuck my head out from behind the door, catching Blondie off guard as his eyes landed on me, the officer must have caught the glare because he began to turn around making me pull back behind the door.
"Wait," The policeman said," Justin?" That caught me off guard, this kid knows the police force? What was I thinking trusting a cocky son a of a bitch? He'll probably rat me out!
"Officer Butch?" Blondie, or Justin replied, back to his normal voice."I almost didn't recognise you with that mustache. Hey how's the wife?" What? He knows his family?
"Listen Justin, I don't know what kind of shit you're in now but you're lucky that you uncle is a very wealthy man." What the hell is going on?
"Oh, why is that? Would you have me on the ground shackled?" Justin said mockingly.
"No I would have your ass down at the station, so don't fuck with me son." I heard a grunt and a mumble and Officer Butch left the room, leaving me with Justin.
"You can come out now." Justin said closing the door and releasing me from my cage. I looked at him for a minute then went to open the door, and for the second time this afternoon, he stopped me and pushed me up against the wall, but this time I was prepared. Before my back hit the wall I swung both our bodies around so now his back was against the wall and I was in charge.
"Listen, Blondie, don't touch me, don't tell me what to do, and don't call me Princess," He was only quiet, listening to what I had to say. " I'm leaving, don't try to stop me and don't follow me. Do you understand?" He only nodded as I released my grip from his shoulders."I'm not some little bitch you can play games with." I mumbled more to myself then to him, as I gripped my bag and walked back over to the door.
"My name isn't Blondie, but I'll let you call me that only 'cuz it's cute when you say it." He said watching me leave. "You should know that I would never disrespect a women." Were the last words he said before I closed the door. Sure he would say that. I've heard that from so many guys and it never ended well, no matter what kind of a relationship it was. They always cheat and hurt others, those kind of people never care about anyone but themselves.
By the time I got back to Bailey's place it was around one in the morning. I guess I got a little caught up in my head when I decided to walk back. I walked up front at first thinking it would be open then remembered that I had come from the spare room. I went back around and passed by Bailey's bedroom window. I slowed down when I saw then sleeping in the same bed, for a minute shock took over me that they finally skipped the child play and went straight for the jackpot, but then I saw Stevie's head shoot up. Before I knew it the light was on in the front room, knowing that I was caught I walked to the front door to meet a very pissed off Steven.
"Hey," I whispered, trying to play it off.
