High on Summertime (luke bryan fanfiction)

I shook my head still in shock at what had just happened to me. I kept pulling the pic of me and Luke up on my phone and turned it into my wallpaper.  The girls were still not gonna believe what had just happened. They were mad enough when I scored a Meet and Greet for tonight. I sauntered over to our group of campers where I saw the gang cooking lunch. The smell of bugers drifted through the air. Jake turned and yelled something about why the he** was I up so early and I just grinned. Sara and Kelly were laying on lounge chairs sipping the first beers of the day. I took a swig of my water before I grabbed a lawn chair for myself and plopped down. Sara pulled her sun glasses off and grinned. She leaned forward and asked if I was ready for tonight.

"Of course" I replied.

"Well how many bottles of wine are we gonna drink so your not nervous?" "Gosh I would need several is I was you getting to meet that yummy man"

"I dont think I will need anything" I shrugged.

Kelly Sat up now. "Now really most girls would kill for this, even me. Dont tell me your not nervous. I totally would be and most normal people would be to."

I threw her my phone and told her to turn it on.

She caught it and turned it around to push the button. A gasp escaped her lips.

"It pays to go run and keep in shape," I giggles.

 Kelly looked up and her eyes kept getting wider. "How, what, when, WHAT!"

"I met him out on my run. Really cool guy and really down to earth"

Sara jumped up to see the pics, "I can"t believe it! Ah I want to hug you so I can feel him. And you get to meet him again tonight! SOOOO freaking jealous!"

 Lukes POV

I walked back to the buses and still couldn't get that girl out of my head. She just seemed so normal and was a stunner. She had blue eyes that seemed to pierce you soul. I shook my head as I still couldnt believe I didnt get her number. I though about adding myself into hers when I took the pic but she probably would have though I was just wanting some. I sat down and picked up my guitare and started working on a song. I seemed to get lost in it when I herd a knock on my door. Carter pooped his head in and asked if I wanted to throw a ball around before we went on, I said sure but I wanted to hop in the shower quick first. I emerged and the FGL guys pretty much tackled me. We were throwing the ball around, waisting time until it was time to go on when I herd a voice and counldn't put my finger on it but was astounded at the rasp of it. Carter ran and up and asked if I had herd the singing as well. I tried to look through the cracks in the board but wern't able to see anything. I still couldnt get the runner out of my mind and hoped I would see her again. I decided to go watch the FGL guys on stage until it was Meet and greet time.

Beths POV

I was still in shock after we had finished lunch and add the pic to my facebook profile. After that my phone lit up like a chirstmas tree chiming with texts from people in amazment of my picture with Luke. Us girls decided we better get ready for the evening and I wanted to look stunning for my meet and greet with Luke.  We all made our way into my camper and started pulling out clothes. Its really not that hard for me to dress country chic as I pretty much wear wranglers and plaid everyday. i choose a pair of cut off jeans and a mint color top with a thick western hip belt, and of course my boots. I hoped into the shower first and tried to think about what I would say to Luke when I saw him again. I didn't want to sound like a weirdo and wanted to play it cool but I knew it would be hard. I stepped out of the shower and herd the girls giggling and laughing and knew they had started into the wine. I opened the door wrapped in a towl and they handed me a glass. They had picked out their outfits and were busy trying to do their hair. I left mine down and let it curl naturally. I started to do my make up when I noticed how badly my hands were shaking. Kelly volunteered to do it for me and I happily let her work her magic. I looked in the mirror and hardly recognized myself. She had done a brown smoky eye with a little bit of gold sparkle and a soft pink lip. I dont normally wear much so it seemed so different but I really liked it! We headed back to the campers to wait for the concerts to start out when Jake busted out his guitar and started strumming. Allan start to pound out a beat on a cooler and me and Sara got ready! We both figured out what tune they were playing and started to belt out Kacey Musgraves follow your arrow. We could hear campers and other party gooers clapping at the end and I blushed. I dont like singing in front of crowds, I just do it for fun. Jake started to play again and all of a sudden he jumped up and started to play country girl skake it for me. I filled my lungs with air and started to belt it out.
