I took a breath and shut my eyes thinking of that night. How she smelt when I was holding her in my arms as we watched the sunrise, they way her eyes sparkled in the moonlight and the voice that allowed me to find her again. I started to play and the words melted out of my lips. It came so easily. I came to the last part and really put my all in as I drew out the I don't want this night to end. I closed my eyes again as I finished. Wow is all I herd Jeff say. Everyone was silent. Lets try it again I asked. I finished strong. Jeff talked again.
"Thats gonna be one hell of a hit buddy,"
Mike talked next. "Its about her isn't. The girl you made me print off the picture from the meet and greet at that music fest."
I nodded. I didn't want to talk about it.
I grabbed my phone out of my pockets and saw I had another text from her. It listed the dates she was gonna be around. My heart sunk. I was busy that entire weekend. Maybe I could convince her to stay a little longer. I told the guys I was ready to head back to my place to get ready for the last concert and I could come back to recut stuff if I needed to.
Beths POV
I sat waiting at the airport and decided to shoot Luke a quick text. I told him I was just about to board and to give me a shout that evening. We had chatted several times and I still couldn't believe that we were both going to be busy and not get to meet up for at least a coffee. Oh well thats life I guess I thought. I was so excited to go to Memphis even if it was a working vacation. I had all my carry on bags stacked around me which was all my camera equipment. I herd them call my plane and people started to get up to board. I got up and got in line. It went fairly quick and before I knew it I was seated and popping my earbuds in and turning on some country music as I hope to catch a little shut eye.
