The bride and grooms first dance was absolutely perfect, I kept having to wipe tears away as I shot them, catching that special bond between them as they glided across the dance floor under the deer antler chandeilier. This was definalty one of the most spectaular weddings I had been at. Everything told a story about the bride and groom. It was the wedding party dance at i noticed Luke really knew how to dance like a gentleman as they did a slow 2 step. He was dancing with the maid of honor, Miranda's sister. He kept throwing his head back in laugher as the two of them joked around. I caught what I needed before I set my camera down to grab a drink of water. I glanced around and realized I knew alot of these people from TV and country Magazines. The guys and Hilary from Lady A were all sitting at a table joined by Tim McGraw and Reba and her husband. So many faces, I had to admit I was a little star struck and hoped I didn't make a fool of myself. The dance ended and Mark made his way over to me. We were able to sit down and have some appys as everyone else was. Stacy had grabbed the bride and groom for some sunset pictures and would be back shortly. We laughed and he told me how happy they were with my work and that Blake and Miranda had complemeted me as well on it. The band started back up. I watched as country superstars got up and mingled and acted as normal people. As the evening wore on Luke would keep coming back and chatting with me before mixing with everyone. He had a few beers in him and was definalty having fun. It was starting to get hot in the tent so I twisted me hair up into a high bun and stepped out to get some fresh air. The stars were twinkling like a billion chirstmas lights. I looked over the west edge of the property and the scene took my breath away. Mirandas horses grazed by the edge of the pond as the reflection on the moon danced in the water. It was so stunning here in the fall. I sighed wishing I didn't have to leave so soon. I felt those familar arms wrap around me. I couldn't help but wonder if this was moving too quickly, but it just felt so right. I leaned my head back against his body to listen to his heart. It was so quiet and peaceful. Our hips swayed to the music. I closed my eyes and wanted to remember this moment forever.
Lukes POV
I searched the tent everywhere for her but she had seemed to dissapear. I was walking to check by the buffet tables once more when a shadow outside caught my attention. She was standing by a willow tree looking out over the pond. Her arms crossed, keeping the chill off them. She swayed slightly to the music. She looked so beautiful in her simply outfit. Not like the other girls who tried to out do each others short skirts and low cut tops. I ducked my head under the doorway as it was a little low for me and walked quietly over before embracing her. She didn't even look back to know that it was me. I melted into her body. As we swayed to the turn of Lady A's Golden. My eyes snapped open as I herd Blakes voice booming through the mic asking for me to join him. I had a feeling this was going to because country's biggest kareoke session with the amount of alcohol everyone was consuming. I smiled and pulled Beth inside with me. She grabbed her camera off the table and smiled knowing I was going to make a big fool of myself with Blake. I joined him up on stage and patted him on the back. He said a few words and handed me a mic as he decided to dedicate this number to his boy wife Adam Levine. Adam stood up and clapped as he shook his head in embarresment. The opening line to Moves Like Jagger came blasting through the speakers. Blake's eyebrows raised as I started to dance making up my own moves. I wiggled my eyebrows back at him as I shook it and started to sing with him. We had the whole crowd in fits of laughter and I could see a bunch of people with phones taking video. I could only imagine the youtube hits this was going to get. The song finished as I humped the air with my hips and Blake was doubled over in laughter. I grabbed my mic and spoke into.
"Blake, go grab your girl, this ones for you."
I looked over the crowd of people and spotted her sitting at the table still laughing. I spoke again
"I want to sing this with a really special friend of mine, Beth would you come up here?"
Beths POV
I had herd my name but who had spoke it? I felt eyes draw my way. Lukes eyes met mine and I sat there like a deer in the headlights. Who was he kidding I couldn't sing infront of these people. Mark gave me a little pat on the back but I was still so suprised I couldn't seem to get my legs to work so I just sat there.
Lukes POV
She sat there with fear in her eyes as she stared into mine. I smiled and walked down to where she was sitting before grabbing her hand.
"Its okay," I whispered in her ear.
I gave her hand a little tug and she followed me. As we passed BK I handed him my phone and told him he would want to catch this on video.
We were just about at the stage when I asked if she knew the words to If I didn't have you. She nodded still stunned. I held her hand and helped her up on stage. She started to shake as she looked out into the crowd. I pulled her towards me and stared deep into her eyes. As soon as I did that she seemed to calm down.
Beths POV
I was standing up on the stage looking at all the famous faces that were staring at me wait to hear what I had. What was Luke thinking? Hes absolutley nuts for doing this and I am gonna kill him for it. He grabbed my elbow gently and turning himself towards me. He looked deep into my soul and suddenly everything was okay, it was just me and him. The song started and i licked my lips in anticipation of my part. It was almost like he was singing the song to me. My part came up and i let the wind throw the words out the crowd.
Lukes POV
Her voiced floored me yet again as it flooded the tent with its smooth richness. I glanced to the crowd and saw jaws drop and gasps as they listened to her. I looked back at her smiling as I pulled her in a little closer letting the heat of my body warm her. I open my mouth and let my words join hers. Blake and Miranda stood alone on the dance floor memorized by us, swaying slightly to the tune. The last words escaped both of us and the crowd erupted with cheers and clapping. I turned towards Beth again and pulled her in tight with a hug whispering thank you into her ear. She was blushing and ready to get of stage. I walked her back to the table and everyone applaused as she passed. She sat down and I told he I would be back. I watched as she bowed her head as she talked to mark. Tim McGraw came up to me to ask about her.
"Okay you gotta spill about that girl, she has some serious pipes on her! Who's she signed with?"
"No one, shes from up in Alberta. I met her this year and shes the photographer for Blake. Total craziness that shes even here," I replied.
"Well ya gotta show people that, shes got a voice like I havn't herd before."
"I know but I don't think she wants to. She doesn't even think she can really sing," I replied shaking my head.
"Better knock some sence into her," he joked as he walked away. Everyone was back up on the dance floor as Hunter Hayes belted a tune. I went to go back to Beth but saw Miranda was busy talking to her so I went to dance with some of the bridesmaids.
Beths POV
I still couldn't believe I had just sung infront of countrys best and didn't get booed off stage. Mark and Stacy both leaned over the table and told me that I was amazing. I blushed again. They both were telling me that they got pictures and some video of it. Just as I was about to reply Miranda walked up and bent down to talk to me. She told me she loved all the photos we had done but had one more favor to ask. She leaned in closer and I nodded my head in agreement.
