"The obvious point." Sherlock replied.

"Obviously not." John mocked Sherlock as he gestured for him to expand on his last sentence.

"The point." Sherlock repeated.

"For goodness sake Sherlock, tell us before John and I both attack you." Y/N retorted.

"It's obvious isn't it." He asked again.

"Clearly it isn't." John snapped.

"We're being targeted. If Moriarty is back, then he's coming after all of us. We need to be ready."

"Be ready?" Y/N asked.

"Moriarty is coming for you Sherlock. Not us, not anyone else." John answered. "You're the person he's going to come for."

"And you can most definitely count on us to get you out of whatever problem you get yourself into, but we have already taken two hours off work. We can't come running around with you. John and Mary need to go to work, people count on them to be there. I need to get to work and do my job." She replied.

"Right." Sherlock mumbled.

"We have other lives. We can't really stop it all for you." Y/N said in a soft tone.

"No, no, it's fine. Go to work, please. I'll see you later."

"I'll be around at five." John answered.

"I'll be with you at four." Y/N added.

John and Mary left the station and a Y/N was left with Sherlock.

"Who was murdered?" Y/N asked. Sherlock followed her out and she tried to hail a cab, but no-one stopped.

Sherlock shouted for a taxi to stop, and one did. One good thing about Sherlock was that he had a hidden talent to always successfully hail a cab.

"Thank you." He followed her into the cab. "To the London newspaper please."

"Sure." The cabby answered.

"A man called Harry Jones. I saw him last night before I went to the Landmark."

"How did he die?"

"Stabbed." Sherlock replied.

"And you were framed right."

"Yes. I was found with the body, so naturally, they arrested me."

"Without a colleague your getting a little slow."

"What? No I'm not."

"Look, I'm just a text away ok. If you need me I can sort something out. I am determined to not let you drag me back into the 'Sherlock pit' because I do enjoy my new life, but John is getting married. He's changed a lot."

"Right." Sherlock replied. "The 'Sherlock pit'?" He asked soon after.

"Right, that's it's nickname. It's when we get so caught up in our adventures that we forget about normal life. We forget our jobs and our families." Y/N looked at Sherlock. "We forget about the consequences that follow our actions."

"Right." Sherlock replied.

The cab stopped. Y/N climbed out, Sherlock followed. She went to pay the cabby, but something stopped her.

"Journey is on me." He said. His voice was familiar. She looked at him and her eyes widened. Her face dropped.

"Sher- Sherlock." Y/N stammered. "SHERLOCK!"

"What?" He asked. He came over to her, but the cab drove away. As if he didn't want to be seen by anyone else.

"The cab driver." She whispered.
