Rose stood out front of her locker, tapping her pen onto her books. She was waiting for Shareen and Jack, because they were both in her drama class. Rose herself, wasn't the greatest fan of the performing arts, but the dynamic duo in her class made her love it more than any other subject.
Jack and Shareen were always joking around with Rose during drama, pulling her one way or the other like a slapstick comedy, but she didn't care at all; in fact, she loved it.
Suddenly, Jack and Shareen burst out of the corridor, giggling like idiots.
"What's gotten into you two today?" Rose asked
"Oh, nothing" Jack said, holding back laughter
BOOM! Rose spun to see the science class to her right running out of the room, smoke pouring out of the doorway.
Rose put two and two together, and looked at Jack and Shareen, who's giggling had escalated to them clutching their stomachs in unadulterated cackling.
Rose grabbed both their hands and yanked them down the corridor, out of the way
"What is wrong with you?" Rose laughed, "Come on then, we're going to be late"
The trio ran down the corridor to ensure they made it.
When they finally arrived in their normal classroom, Rose plopped herself in the seat by the window, looking out onto an overcast day, one which the sun had promised to show, according to the weather forecast that morning.
Their drama teacher announced they were watching a movie today, to study the art of realism. She was just thankful it wasn't reading Stanislavski's book on realism.
The movie they were watching, she'd seen before, so she checked the tub under her desk. She slid it out to find another note!
Rose read the note, smiling to herself. He seemed like a genuine sweetheart with a few blocks in the road. And from that moment on, Rose Tyler made herself a promise to help this poor boy, whoever he might be.
So she wrote back
"Thank you, Doctor!
I hope I can help you, because you seem absolutely lovely. And sending notes like this is certainly does make my day interesting. Anything you need, tell me here. One day, we should meet in person. That would be great, wouldn't it just?
Love from Daisy x"
Putting it back in the tub, she smiled to herself.
Just when the sun decided to show on that overcast day.
