Truth or Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

"No way am I letting John do that!" Rose exclaimed

"It's truth or dare, honey, and it looks like the natural selection is coming for you AND John" Jack laughed

"Oh, fine! Let's do it, then"

John himself didn't feel comfortable as the dare involved him too, and he'd never touched makeup in his life.

"Just a sorry in advance, you're gonna look horrific" John said to Rose

"Hey, it's fine. At least there's only us here" Rose reassured him.

Rose dashed to her room and grabbed her makeup bag, and came back again.

"Who's got the blindfold?" Shareen asked

"When don't I have a blindfold?" Jacked winked at Shareen.

John had to admit, Jack was about as smooth as they came. And innuendo-y, sometimes to the point of where it was uncomfortable

Jack secured the blindfold around John's eyes, and he couldn't see a thing.

He felt the rush of air that indicated Rose had sat in front if him.

"Okay, go!"

John grabbed something cylindrical and opened it. He had no clue what it was, he was going off on a limb it was lipstick.

Part of the dare was Rose couldn't tell him that.

And so, John kept on in this confused state until he was confident he'd finished

"Guys, I'm done! Voila!" John laughed as he took off the blindfold.

Uh oh.

"How do I look?" Rose said, striking a pose and laughing

"Well, I'll put it this way: never let me within an 100 meter radius of makeup again"

Jack and Shareen were cackling in the background, as John handed Rose the mirror.

"AHHH!" Rose shrieked as she finally saw the product of John's blindfolded makeup frenzy.

John thought it looked like she'd been in a car crash and the car was full of loose makeup which had bombarded her face all at once.

"Well, I did say I'd never touched makeup in my life" John shrugged

"Yeah, clearly. Someone needs to get you classes" Rose mock admired herself

Even with makeup comparable to that of a clowns or worse, Rose still managed to look beautiful.

John never quite knew how people managed to to that.

"Okay, who's next up?" Jack asked

"I think it's me" Rose said, "hm... John. Truth or dare?"

Rose smirked as John tried to make up his mind.

"Truth"

"Oh, you're such a bore!" Rose moaned, "well then, have you ever kissed someone?"

"Nope"

If like in the movies crickets would make noises, now would be the time.

"Seriously?" Shareen asked

"D'you honestly think I have?" John asked Shareen, who shrugged in reply.

John felt himself turn slightly pink, as he was fully aware Rose was just about a metre away.

"Okay, so now, my turn" John grinned

After atrocities, which would remain a secret that John would take to his grave were committed against Jack in that game of truth or dare, had finally finished, they decided it was time to watch a movie.

"Okay guys, what movie?" Rose asked, running over to the all-too-familiar-DVD-drawer

"Do you have Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy?" John asked hopefully, it was his all time favourite movie.

"Hm... looks like it" Rose said, taking the DVD out of the drawer.

"Brilliant!" John exclaimed smiling

"What, whathikers guide to the where?" Shareen asked

"Just wait, it's a great film!"

"Who calls a movie a film anymore" John heard Jack mutter to himself

They put the DVD in, and began to embark on a journey through the cosmos. John, Jack, Rose and Shareen say comfortably on the couch, until Rose fell asleep halfway through, resting her head on John's shoulder.

She's so beautiful, he thought to himself.

And not too long after, he fell asleep as well.
