All Grown Up {Cashton}

Thirteen

Age 16

It took about half a second for Ashton to go from upset to Angry to Worried. The vase had shattered right over Calum's face and he was all cut up. Ashton almost threw Kennedy out the door before shutting it and running to his best friend.

"Cally! Oh my god are you ok?" Ashton shrieks.

He pulls the boy into his lap and looks closely at his face. It was cut just below his eye and all over, his cheeks, forehead and nose. Ashton picked him up and carried him the bathroom grabbing his mothers first aid kit and cleaned the cuts.

That took about three times the amount of time it should have because Calum was in pain from the burning of the alcohol and wouldn't let Ashton put it on. Once he was finally done he slipped a band-aid over the larger cuts and just let the smaller ones be.

He took Calum back into the living room and let him watch T.V while Ashton swept up the glass and vacuumed to assure they're was none left and no one could step on it.

After cleaning everything he ordered pizza quickly and sat on the couch next to Calum, wrapping his arms around the smaller boy's waist. Calum laid against his chest and smiled. Even though he was in pain he was happy to have Ashton there with him in the end and Kennedy was gone.

"Sooooo..." Ashton starts

Calum looks at him and Ashton is playing with his fingers.

"How would you like to go on a umm little ice cream date type thing with me tonight?" Ashton says nervous about Calum's answer.

"Of course. I'd love to." Calum says kissing Ashton's cheek with a small smile.

The two boys sat there there for the next two hours throwing thing at each other, and lets be real. This was normal for them.
