All Grown Up {Cashton}

Fourteen

Age 16

The two boys were walking to the little ice cream store on the corner. Calum's hand locked with Ashton's irregularly large hand as they walked.

Both were silent but it wasn't awkward. It was comfortable actually. They were both just overjoyed that this was happening and they didn't know what to say.

Once they got there they of course didn't even start the date normal. Ashton tried to beat Calum up to the shop and Calum jumped onto him from behind, wrapping his legs around his waist and and his arms around his neck. Ashton just continued to run up to the front because Calum was super light and it really wasn't uncommon for this to happen.

When they got to the lady at the counter Calum jumped off and stood to the side. He walked over towards the edge of the shop and looked out the window. When he looked back over at Ashton and the  girl behind the counter, who looked about the two boy's age, he was not happy.

The girl was openly flirting with Ashton! And he just stood there with a weird look on his face.

Calum marched right over, his jealousy kicking in as he stood straight in front of the girl. She looked at him questionably but he didn't care. He had one hand on his hip and the other in the air shaking one finger sassily.

"Nuh uh. Nope. I don't think so. He's here with me so if you would very kindly BACK OFF, It would be appreciated. Thanks and have a good day." Calum says slamming some money down, grabbing the ice cream and stoping away like the very mature guy he is.

Ashton just laughed at his date's sassiness and jogged after him. Calum was sitting on a bench with their ice cream in his lap and weaving a flower crown from the small flowers in the pot beside the bench.

"Cally, you're not supposed to pick them."

"It's not wrong if nobody sees." He protests.

"That is false but how did you learn how to do this?" Ashton asks.

"Well that lady deserves it. And from Mali." Calum smiles finishing it off. He handed Ashton his ice cream and set the flower crown on his head.

"There ya go. Now eat your ice cream, ding dong!" Calum gets up walking away still eating his ice cream.

"But I'm not a ding dong..."
