All Grown Up {Cashton}

Seventeen

Age 16

"Cally! I need you to come over." Ashton says as calmly as possible although he had tears streaming down his face.

"Ok, ok I'm coming." Calum says, overly worried because Ashton sounded super upset.

He hurried and got in his car quickly driving over.

When he got to the door it was weird cause Rocky didn't come to see him. He walked in hurriedly slipping off his vans and ran to find Ashton.

He was laying down on his bed, sobs escaping his lips and Rocky's collar in hand.

Calum sat next to him as Ashton pulls him into his lap.

"M-M-my m-mom found R-Rocky this m-morning and he h-had gotten a-attacked by another dog. Cally! H-he did-didn't m-make it!" Ashton says.

"W-what no! That can't be right!" Calum cries along with Ashton.

After a few hours of holding each other and crying they went out to bury and make a grave for Rocky.

They carefully placed the small wrapped up puppy in the small while in the ground. They added a picture of The four boys, three girls and Rocky all sitting together to the area and then added the collar but kept the leash out. Ashton shoveled the dirt back over the hole and patted it down. They put posts on the bottom of Rocky's all to big bone and stuck it into the ground after Calum wrote Rocky's name in sharpie. They then dig small holes and planted little daisies. They called the others and told them to come plant theirs. They all made an outline pf the grave.

After a bit all but Calum and Ashton. They laid on a blanket in the grass, and watched the stars but both were thinking about the little puppy that should have been laying next to the two.

This was one of the worst days especially for these two since Rocky had been with them through it all but they knew that if they had each other they would be able to get through anything no matter how hard it was.

Well this wasn't the best chapter but it will play a part later. I know the picture at the top doesn't match perfectly but it's cute so of well
