Sigh, Cerise walked towards the Ever After High Castle. It's another school year, and she dreaded it.

To many students, Ever After High is like their second home, where their friends are and where they rest, but for Cerise it's different, this place is full of strangers. It is not their fault though, Cerise would never bring herself to let her guard down, with such a big secret in her life, she's better off without friends. It dose make her very lonely in school, especially when she always see warm loving faces at home, this big castle felt cold and uninviting. Oh how she wanted to go home.

She walks through the front door, with no greetings, and passed through the halls as if she was never there, even Raven Queen got a bigger reaction when she entered. Cerise spread up, walking through the corridor was creating a lot of unnecessary self pity, she just wanted to put her things down and rest.

---at the dorm---
Cerise opened her door slowly, the first thing she noticed, was the smell of wood, the room is filled with wood furniture. From bed to table to shelfs, everything is made out of raw wood, or even tree stumps, it felt nice.

"Hi..." oh someone was here? Cerise turned around to see a really woodie girl curiously trying to start a conversation.

"Do you like the room?" She asked but Cerise didn't reply, she looked away, deciding to look at the furniture once more.

"I thought it would be nice to decorate your side of the room too while I did my side"

"......"

"If you don't like it you can change."

"........."

"...."

The room fell silent once more, and Cerise decided to put down her things

"I'm Cedar Wood by the way," Daughter of Pinocchio." the girl who cannot lie "What's your.."

Cerise narrows her eyes ever so slightly. She can't get close to this girl, or her secret won't be secret anymore. "It doesn't really matter who I am, the room is nice, I.. i think I'll go out for a walk."

And so she left the room to go to the forest, maybe she could rest here instead, or she could run, let the wind catch her.

-author's note-
