Chapter 6: Oh Great, Apple

(With Chapter 5 Daring POV)

Royals! As if being in a school only for future main characters is not exclusive enough, there is a group of people who thing they are above them all. Always sticking with their tight-nit group, and displaying their aura of superiority.

Especially Apple. She's a very important character from the most important fairytale, so it seams. People treat her as if she is already queen, and it was uncomfortable seeing the obvious bias of the headmaster of the school. The year she came into this school, she had immediately taken over the student council as if it's the most natural thing..

Cerise can't say for certain if Apple is a better student president or not, since she's in the same year, and that's the only student president she knows. However Cerise never attended any functions organised by the student body before. Apart from keeping a low profile, those events were just not her thing. Things about royal balls and destiny following parties, people go to feel royal and experience what they cannot have.. and to Cerise, that's just sad.

--In school--
The huge television screen in the locker hall switched on, catching everyone's attention. Well it usually never on unless Blondie wants to share something, and what Blondie wants to share is usually really interesting, and so everyone feathered to watch the screen.

It doesn't take long before Cerise realised what the video is about. It's Apple's campaign for student President.

"There we go again" Cerise mumbled softly, not expecting to ever be heard.

"What's wrong, everyone loves her and she's going to do a splendid job this year again!"

Cerise was surprise to hear someone reply to her comment. She turned around to see Daring Charming, the boy who had briefly caught her attention before, once again doing something to regain her interest. However, the boy wasn't even looking at her, he probably didn't even know who he was talking to right at that moment. Eyes glued to the screen at Apple's face as she talked about whatever, Daring displayed a gentle smile, not the blinding grin that he wears so often walking in the school halls, or the stupid weird faces he gives his mirror, but a smile so full of warmth and excitement Cerise thought she was staining at a different person.

'Your so hopelessly in love with Apple aren't you?' Cerise thought. It's so painfully obvious.

"Well, for you Royal bunch maybe, every year must be such great fun." she mumbled almost to herself.. "nothing's going to change for us." What did she just say!

Cerise quietly stepped back hands covering her mouth. Surprised at what she was saying. What kind of change was she looking for? Why was she so mildly irritated seeing Daring's gentle smiling face? She needs to cool off, this is getting ridiculous, she's not suppose to interact with anyone, or have anything. When did she become so bold? Cerise ran off before the clip ended.

Wow I didn't think Cerise would fall for Daring so soon... I didn't expect it at least.. what I do know is that it would take a long time before they actually get together...
