Chapter 18: First party

"Cerise! Cerise! Cerise"

"Yes Cedar?"

"Oh can I call you Cerise?"

"Sigh, yes Cedar."

Cerise gave her room made a small smile to tell her she really didn't mind it. After all, Cedar was her room mate and a very good friend. Even thought she knew she absolutely cannot tell her her secret, she didn't dislike hanging out with her.

"Wana go to the true hearts day party?"

"No"

"Oh come on, why not!"

"I don't like parties, they are crowded.. and loud.."

"But this one's meaningful, it celebrates true love!"

"Which probably means a lot of couples are going, I don't have a true love to go with."

"love have many forms and you know it!" Cedar argues back, "Besides, it's fun to try new things with friends."

"Ok, Ok, you win."

"Cedar, I need to run some arenas after school. I'll go to the party right after, don't wait up at the dorm for me." Cerise announced to Cedar.

"Your not tying to skip out are you?"

"Nah, I said I'll go so I'll go. The secret location is at the back of the invitation card, so I'll know where to go."

Cerise didn't know what to do. She was too early, and Cedar wasn't here yet. She walked to the food bar, Better standing around drinking pinch than standing around doing nothing.. right?

True harts huh, "sigh" Cerise believes in true love, she sees it at home first hand, She just never thought it could happen to her. The stakes were just too high, what if she actually found someone, but she still have to keep her secret, she won't be truly honest, and it wouldn't be fair for him, and she wouldn't want that. Cerise Sighed again it's better not to have. She glanced at the door.

Soft music was playing, and couples streamed in two by two, smiles in their faces, love in their eyes, why of all parties she had to go to this one. Cerise sipped her drink and looked at the door as yet another couple came through the door. 'Oh come on Cedar where are you?'

Thinking of Cedar again, Cerise smiled. "Love has many forms and you know it!" she said, Cedar's a really nice person, slow to judge and always looking at the positive side of things. She loves being part of things that spread good and meaningful messages. Take being a rebel for example, she had no desire to change her story, yet she understands why rebels want to be rebels, and she whole heartedly supports them. True hearts day too, she just want to be there with her friends celebrating the simplest, yet most magical thing, love.

Cerise got worried and decided to chat with Cupid, she went up to the DJ booth.

"Hey." Cerise whispered

"Hey!" Cupid replied as she turned around "Oh Cerise!!"

Stunt by the sudden outburst Cerise's eyes grew wide as she cautiously stepped back.

"err.. Cool party?"

"Oh my, i've never seen you in any parties before!" Cupid was excited "Can I help you?"

"Have you seen Cedar? I can't find her anywhere."

"Oh she's on a mission" Briar proceeded on telling how they wrote the wrong address on Cedar's card so Dutches won't know where the party would be and can't rat them out.

"Yeah, and when I went back to our room, I found the note to the right location on my bedside table."

Cerise turned around, "Cedar!"

Sorry guys, this was suppose to go up on v day but my mood wasn't right, I had just broke up with my bf and wasn't feeling it 😓 Still am not though, but I think it's better to move on from this chapter.
