Chapter 19: Second party

"Narrator!" Said Maddie up to the sky, isn't Raven and I suppose to be Cerise's best friends?

"Oh ya, that's right.."

"when are you going to talk about that part of the story?

"now.. I think"

—at the cafeteria—
"Ohhh, what should I do?" said Raven at the lunch table. She had been ranting about it non stop for a while now. It was Dexter, Dexter who wrote her the love letter, not Daring, and she actually went to confront Daring about it, that was brave.. From what Cerise could gather, Raven got a note on true hearts day from D. Charming, and got the wrong "D", so shes super regretful about it.

Cerise didn't know what she can do about it to help her friend, she didn't find anything attractive about Dexter to begin with, he's very often not confident at all, and really awkward around people outside of the royal click.

"Why do you suddenly have an interest in Dexter?" Cerise asked.

"Well he's smart, and sweet.." Raven went on but Cerise honestly couldn't care less, If she ever fall for a guy, he probably would be full of ideas, confident, and a leader, definitely a leader. But Cerise wasn't looking to fall in love, she can't possibly. And besides, there wasn't a guy in Ever after high that exude the qualities mentioned.

"It's about time the narrator included us in these chapters don't you think Raven?" Maddie announced her present with something confusing as usual.

"Sadly Im not here for tea.. meet me by the school exit!" Maddie looked kind of panicky, not at all like her usual self, she hurried off to tell more people.

—School exit—
"Let's go!" Maddie started running, and all the clueless students follow suit.

"The blossoms and blooms are heading for doom!"

huh? Cerise definitely still cannot understand Maddie very well.

"Translation, there's definitely something wrong."

Yeah, she knew that much.

Maddie brought them to a part of the forest, and unlocked wonderland grove, except, it didn't look very wonderlandish.. the plants were all dull drooping and so, so sad..

Wonderland magic is the source of all magic, but once upon a time, the evil queen cast her evil curse on wonderland, and so all the entrance to wonderland had to be sealed off. A small bit of wonderland magic was saved and stored in the enchanted forest, wonderland grove, so that ever after high could still have magic.

But now that the magic was dying.. "We have to do something!" Apple exclaimed , "But what?"

"There's only one thing we can do!" Maddie announced, "we have to party!" Usually Maddie made some sense, but today, every sentence that came out of her seamed mad.

"what Maddie's trying to say is that we need to do something wonderlandish to recharge the grove," Kitty clarified, "and a traditional wonderland tea party would be the easies way to do it." Lizzie continued.

Oh great.. another party, Cerise wasn't very keen. Maybe, maybe she could get out of it somehow.

"I'll make a whole new collection for the party!" Lizzie shouted excitedly,

"And i'll prepare the tea!" Maddie followed.

"I'll help." Raven said while grabbing Cerise's arm and following Maddie.

"Wha—" Cerise was dragged by her friend to the cafeteria once again, but before she did, she caught a glimpse of Apple looking strangely disappointed at Raven before she too was pulled away by Lizzie, to help with the outfits most probably. 'Strange..' she thought.
