Chapter 16

"You were talking about time table, Mr Green"- Niall says and looks at me with a smile. I shyly smile back and stay uncomfortably quiet for the rest of the class.

"You really saved me"- I tell him when we reach the cafeteria.

"It's nothing, really"- He smiles and I can't help but look at him. He is so beautiful, kind and it's like all he has is just light, unlike from Harry,  who is dark as hell.

"Hey, Niall"- Tall guy with honest smile comes to us.

"Kate, this is Liam, my friend, Liam, this is Kate... she is new here"- Niall introduces us.

"I didn't know we had such a beautiful girls here"- He tries to compliment me and obviously does it. I smile and say " I didn't think that here would be such a handsome boys"- I giggle and they laugh too.

"So, this is your first year, yeah?"- Liam says as we sit on the round table.

"Yeah"- I answer shortly and then regret it.

"Your accent.. you are  American, aren't you?"- He smiles.

"Yes I am"- I say with proud face- " I was living in Chicago for years, but my brother decided that I should live here now"- I laugh - " He is a real madman"- I add with nervous face, I'm not sure if I had to say it, or not.

"She is funny"- Liam pokes Niall and they laugh. Niall looks down than at me and smiles. His half smile makes my stomach flutter.

"Are you coming to the party tonight? of course you are, are not you? "- Liam asks.

"Yes..I guess"- I answer.

"As far, as you are with the most popular boy in the University, you have to come"- Liam giggles and I look at Niall. The most popular boy? I look around see desperate girls faces at us. 

"Wow"- I say and laugh- " I didn't notice you were so popular hear"- I laugh again.

"Yes he is, girls are just crazy about him, you can see how handsome he is, can't you?"- Liam laughs and I join. Niall is really handsome and I kind of like him, his smile makes me want to be something more than friends with him but it's not right, I've just known him for two days and I can't do anything if he won't. Maybe, today's party is the best opportunity to understand how is he looking at me. As a friend or as..more than friend. 

After last class I go out in hope to see Harry's car but it's not. Why the hell am I thinking about him when I was thinking to be something more than friends with Niall? I  like him and he is better than Harry. He is sweet and polite, he knows how to act with me.. I hope that's how he really is and nothing will change.

"Nick"- I roll my eyes when I see my brother's gossip girl driver.

"Ms. Marshall"- He smiles and opens the door for me.

"Hi"- I say sarcastically and climb in.

"How was your day?"- is he trying to have a friendly relationship with me?

"Hell stop it"- I bark "there is no way in the hell that I'm going to tell you about my personal life!" - I say and he laughs, is he kidding?

"In case, I know that you've told Ben about me asking you not to pick me up.. so I know you are an asshole and stop acting like you aren't " I tell and smile with winner face.

I  finish all my homework in less than 3 hours and I'm finally free to start preparing for the party. Claire is still talking on the phone to Jake and I haven't even asked her if she wanted to go with me. She is acting like teenage girl, Jesus.
