Katherine's P.O.V

"Well" Claire rolls her eyes as I finish telling her what happened this morning. "I still can't understand why you choose to go there with Niall"

"With whom do you suggest then?" I ask with annoyed voice.

"Harry, who else?" She rolls her eyes again, as it was the most obvious thing ever.

"I thought you were the one who hated him, and you have asked me to stay away from him, don't you remember?"

"I've changed my mind as you see, Kathy" she smiles and stands up, avoiding my gaze. What the hell is wrong with her?

"Not only mind, Claire" I say and try to leave the room but she stops me.

"What do you mean?" She asks, a little fear dancing in her green eyes.

"I mean that you have changed" I snap. " You have changed since the day you are dating Jake. You are not that Claire, I used to be best friend with. Can't you see that?"

"Oh, come on" She rolls her eyes again, as if a huge thing was removed from her shoulders.

"It's your birthday today, let's not ruin it. Be happy, you are eighteen for fuck's sake" She laughs but this laugh sounds so unnatural, so plastic.

"I'm going downstairs" I leave the room without another word and rush down to see what Nick is doing there.

"Hey" I smile at him and sit next to him on a sofa.

"Hello" He smiles back.

If I can thank god for anything, I should thank him for giving me this amazing person. He is always with me, no matter what, he can always listen to me and give the best advises, ever.

"I'm so confused" I say and bury my head into my hands.

"I'm listening" He says and even though I can't see him, I can feel the familiar smile on his face that can melt a heart and burn an earth.

"Claire is acting so different. I don't know what's gotten into her"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, she is not that sweet, always caring, goody-goody friend of mine, who was always by my side, always protecting me and giving me right advises. " I look down.

"And the worst thing is, I don't trust her anymore"

"Have you talked with her about this?" Nick asks.

"Well, I tried"

"So?"

"She said it was my birthday and didn't want to ruin it" I roll my eyes.

"She is right" He tells and surprises me.

"What?" I yell.

"You heard me" He laughs. why is he laughing ?!

"Nick, I thought you were by my side!" I bark.

"I am, that's why I think that you should forget about her for a little time" He says and then rolls his eyes. "At last today"

"I don't know."

"It's almost eight, go get ready, I'm sure Niall wouldn't like to wait" He smiles and touches the end of my nose.

I giggle and nod. " Thank you, Nick, I do really feel better."

"You are always welcome" He smiles and I leave the living room, rushing to my bedroom. I don't feel like I want to choose everything that's in my wardrobe, so I put on a short light coloured blue skirt with a black top, also put some jewellery, some light make up on my face and 5 cm high heels. When I finish looking in the mirror, Claire is already ready, she is hot, as always and beautiful, very beautiful. I wish I had her body, legs, hair, eyes, god she is so beautiful and charming.

"I'm going with Jake, you still going with that dumbass?" she asks, looking at her nails.

"Stop calling him names, he is my friend and I do care about him!" I shout.

"Playing friends with benefits, Kathy? You have changed so much" She says sarcastically.

"Just leave me, I'm coming with Niall"

"Harry is so much better than Niall, think about it" She smiles ironically and leaves the room, leaving me alone.

Harry's P.O.V

"You sure she is coming?" Zayn asks ironically and puts the red cup to his lips.

"Yes" I answer through my teeth. " She will be mine, sooner or later"

"Better sooner, pal" Louis smiles " Or we will think that your great friend is not as great as you are saying" He laughs and Zayn joins.

"Fuck off, both of you"

"Okay, now listen. Ben Marshall, that bastard is going to be back in a few days, that video of you fucking her innocent sister, would be the best surprise for him. He will be so fucking mad, man" Zayn laughs " It's sick, isn't it? He will do anything to find you and when he finds you, you will fuck him too!"

"I hate that motherfucking asshole so much" Louis says before drinking from his red cup.

"He deserves the worst and I won't blame Harry for doing all this to him, you know?" Louis asks Zayn and I just prefer to stay silent. I just don't feel like I want to discuss this subject with anyone....

Anymore.

"Look how hot she is, I wouldn't be against of fucking her too" Zayn smiles, while looking at the front door. The crowd of people are making hard for me to see her, but finally I manage to catch her figure with my eyes. Her body leaning against Niall.

"That son of a bitch" I growl and stand up.

"Where are you going?" Louis asks but I don't answer him , instead I rush to her and as she sees me, standing right in front of her, her smile fades.

"Hey" She greets me, trying to sound calm and all, but I know her better than she thinks.

"Dance with me" I offer, ignoring her greeting.

"Um, I'm with Niall, actually"

"I don't care. Dance with me"

"I think she said she didn't want to" That Niall guy steps between me and Kathy.

I smile, then this smile suddenly fades away and I look directly in his eyes.

" I counted a total of zero fucks given about your opinion" I say.

"Well, it's not up to you to give a fuck about my opinion. If Kathy wants to dance with you, she will. But as you heard, she doesn't want"

"Fuck off, okay?"

"Harry, please! Just don't ruin this day for me, please, leave us alone." She begs and her voice makes my heart melt. The way she pleads me, the way she begs, the way the looks at me, the way her lips move while talking to me.

I leave them, without another minute.

But things can't go that easy, I'm Harry Styles.
