Chapter 17

Katherine's P.O.V

This place has nothing, I mean nothing common with the parties I've been with Claire days ago. Everyone seems to know each other, New students are greeted and I don't feel like stranger here. I feel like this is where I belong, these are my future friends and I'm so comfortable when Niall is with me. He doesn't leave me even for a minute. He introduces me to everyone and everyone is so kind to me. I just love this place. Music is loud but for some reason it doesn't ache my head. Drinks are everywhere but if you don't want to drink you won't. No one is going to laugh at you or something. Girls and boys are dancing together but it's nothing like something I've seen in that damned parties. It's not strip, girls are not dancing on the tables and boys are not whistling to them.

"You look... beautiful"- Niall compliments me.

"So you do"- I try to..flirt with him?

"Thank you"- he giggles.

"Where is Liam though?"

"I've no idea, he said he was coming" - Niall looks around to find Liam but neither he sees him, nor I do.

"You can go find him"- I smile.

"No, I don't want to let you stay here alone"- He is so sweet, Christ !

"That's not a problem, really" I smile " I'll entertain myself" I laugh and he smiles.

"Okay, I'll be back soon"- He puts his red cup on the small table in the garden and disappears in the people. I look around with a smile and see dark, blue eyes looking at me.

"Hi"- Boy smiles

"Hey"- I smile 

"New here, right?"- His lips are full and red.

"Yeah"- I answer shortly

"Me too, I think I've seen you already"- He looks at me with interest

"I don't know, maybe we have some classes together?"

"No, I have seen you somewhere else"

"I don't think so"- I smile

"I'm Kris"

"Kathy"- I smile.

"Katherine, her name is Katherine, Kris"- I hear familiar voice behind me and my heart starts to beat faster.

"Harry Styles?"- Kris eyes go wide than he looks at me and opens his mouth again  "Is she with you?- Kris asks Harry.

"Yeah, you can fuck off now"- Harry says I look at him. He is wearing wearing a black shirt and ripped black jeans. 

Kris looks at me one more time and then disappears. I turn back to Harry, he has proud smile on his face and I want to slap him in the face. How he dares to act like this? and I'm not with him.

"What are you doing here?"- I try to stay calm

"I'm here for you"- He whispers in my ear,my stomach turns and my nerves begin to creep to the surface.

"You have no right to be with me, I don't need you so please, leave me alone"- I try my best not to let him see how nervous I am right now.

"Stop being fucking child"- He rolls his eyes "I'll take you in the better place"

"I don't want to go with you, This is exactly where I want to be"- I fire back.

"You will, or I'll beat the shit out of that dick faced blonde"- Harry warns me.

"Are you serious? are you really trying to frighten me? "- I'm surprised.

"I already told you, It's up to you now"- He smiles slyly and I look around, trying to see Niall and plea him with eyes not to come here, but he is nowhere. 

"Leave me alone!"- I bark

"Here he is"- Harry smiles and my heart stops, I look around and see Niall in the house.

"I'm coming"- I say and start walking really fast towards the front door. I hear Harry's steps behind me and as I reach the street I look back at him.

"What the hell do you want from me?!"- I try not to yell at him. I know how he reacts when someone is yelling at him and once I've been warned not to do it again.

"Climb in the car"- He says and for some reason I do it. I just don't want Harry to hurt Niall and I know what is he capable od to do. I saw it in that damned building.

"You haven't seen London at night, do you?"- He breaks the silence.

"I haven not"- I say quietly.

"I'll show it to you"- I can feel his smile even though I'm not looking at him.

I stay quiet. I don't know why is he still making me want to be with him. He is terrible person and he is manipulating me. He knows that I care about Niall, that's why he told me that, he knew I would come with him. 

"Are you afraid of speed?"- He asks me

"No"- I say before I realize the question

"You ready then?"- He looks in my eyes and smiles. I nod and his Foot stepped on the accelerator. I feel how he speed increases and momentary I catch the seat. My heart beats thousand times faster and I can't even breath. My legs are shaking and my hair is in the air. I can't even see anything from the window.

"Stop it"- my voice is too low, even I can't hear it. I feel tears in my eyes and I try my best to let the voice come out 

"Stop it, please!"- I cry and close my eyes. 

Car stops in a few seconds.

"You okay?- when I open eyes I see his beautiful, deep green eyes looking at me with a smile. Is he laughing at me? I can't think about anything now.

"No"- I try to breath but I can't. 

"You need some fresh air"- He tells and climbs out the car. then opens my door and I climb out too. My legs are still shaking and I can't move.

"You said you weren't frightened"

I don't answer. I'm just too concentrated to breath, My heart is still beating fast and I can't calm myself down.

"Don't do it again, please"- I look at him with tears in my eyes and his smile momentary disappears.

"Stop it"- He says and looks away from me.

"Stop what?"- I ask nervously

"Stop crying, I hate it, fuck"- he says and looks at me.

"Okay"- I smile for some reason and he smiles back.

And even in the dark, he is beautiful, his dark eyes are still shining and his lips are calling me to kiss him.
